ASEA claims to have the best business opportunity for you. But do they really? Can you really make money with this ASEA? It’s doubtful. Let me show you why.

Now unlike other ASEA reviews, I have no skin in the game. Meaning I am not associated with ASEA in any way. So, I’m not here to try and convince you to buy anything or convince you to jump into this business opportunity.

I’m also not here to talk about the quality of their products. Nor any claims they make about their products. I’m just talking about the business opportunity. And tell you what I think about it.

Once you finish reading my review what you decide to do in regards to ASEA’s business opportunity is totally up to you.

So, What Is ASEA?

ASEA, which means “seaward” is an MLM company that was founded in 2007 by former Kraft executive Verdis Norton, who is now retired.

The company is based out of Salt Lake City. It currently has 12 distribution centers that service 25 countries, including North America and 22 countries in Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Similar to other MLM companies such as Forever Living and Modere they market health and wellness products.

The ASEA Product Line

Unlike other MLM companies that can have product lines that have 100’s of different products. ASEA currently has only 4 product lines. Of course, that can change but at the time I did this review this is their product line.

ASEA Redox Cell Signaling Supplement

This is their flagship product. And according to ASEA this is the only supplement (water) that contains active redox signaling molecules that help protect, rejuvenate, and restore cells.

And by drinking this water each day it’s supposed to help regulate genes and keep your cells talking. Which can help with thing such as your immune system health, cardiovascular health. Your gut health and hormone balance

ASEA Renu 28 Revitalizing Redox Gel

Renu 28 is a whole body skin care gel. ASEA claims it’s skin therapy that works from the inside out to improve the health of your skin by add smoothness, even texturing and increasing your skins moisture.

RENU Advanced Skin Care

Renu advanced is their anti-aging face care system. Which consists of:

• Gentle Refining Cleanser – a foaming cleanser tones and hydrates skin.
• Ultra Replenishing Moisturizer – helps enhanced skin elasticity and firmness, reduces wrinkles and helps increased skin moisture.
• Intensive Redox Serum – this is an ultra-concentrated anti-aging skin gel.
• RENU 28 Revitalizing Redox Gel – this is a fast-absorbing gel designed to support healthy skin. (texture, smoothness, skin elasticity)

ASEA Via

This is Asea’s supplement line of products which consists of:

• ASEA Via Source – this is their Whole Food & Micronutrient Complex that they claim supports cellular health, general nutrition, and wellness throughout the body.
• ASEA Via Biome – this is their Full Spectrum Probiotic.
• ASEA Via LifeMax – this is to help stimulate cellular health.
• ASEA Via Omega – this is their Omega 3 fatty acid supplement which supports cardiovascular health.

Now it should be noted like all products of this nature and as it’s stated on their website. When it comes to the claims made by ASEA and their products.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

I also want to make mention the link to the “Science” page regarding of their products gave no scientific proof that their products actually work. It just focused on why redox signaling is important. And the product pages themselves is just a lot of marketing hype about the products.

Something you want to keep in mind if you’re thinking of joining ASEA. And the question that comes to my mind is “If their products did really help, you would think they can prove they do, but they show no evidence?”

The Price To Get Into Business

To get started with ASEA there is a $40 enrolment fee. In this enrolment both digital and printed marketing materials, a website, and a back office management system all used to help build your business.

Then you need to pick one of several enrolment packs. Each one of these packs contain different products.

Entrepreneur Packs:

• Entrepreneur RENU Advanced Pack – $1040.00
• Entrepreneur REDOX Pack – – $1040.00
• Entrepreneur ASEA VIA Pack – $1260.00
• Entrepreneur Product Suite Pack – $1350.00

Business Packs

• Business Redox Pack – $520.00
• Business RENU Advanced Pack – $520.00
• Business Product Suite Pack – $720.00
• Business ASEA VIA Pack – $720.00

And then once you’ve decided which pack you want to start out with. You’re going to set up your auto shipment.

And to be sure you’re eligible to earn your commissions, bonuses and loyalty rewards you need order enough product so it has a minimum of 100PV (personal volume).

So, How Can You Make Money With ASEA?

You can make money 8 different ways with ASEA. You also have to be an “Active Associate” in order to be eligible to make money.

And according to their compensation plan, an Active Associate means you must generate 100PV (personal volume) each monthly period.

Here’s the definition of personal volume as explained in their compensation plan.

Volume generated on your own account, either from your own purchases, or from the purchases of any retail customers or preferred customers whom you have sponsored. Volume is the unit by which products sold are measured for commissions, and personal volume is one way we distinguish who generated the volume.

Now like most MLM compensation plans they can get a little goofy and confusing. So, I’m not going to get into all the details of their comp plan here. However, if you want to look it over for yourself you can do that by clicking here.

Here’s a quick summary of how you can make money.

Retail Sales

This is pretty straight forward. You buy the products at a wholesale and sell them at retail and keep the difference.

The other 7 ways you can make money is by becoming involved in the business building opportunity offered by ASEA.

And those ways are:

Preferred Customer Bonus

If your customers sign up for autoship you’ll earn $25 for every case of product they buy.

Fast Start Bonus

Every time you personally enroll someone into ASEA and buy a Product Pack during the enrolment process you can earn a fast start bonus. As well as paying on 2 levels within your downline.

Director Bonus

If you achieve the rank of director in 14 days or less from the date that you enrolled you can earn a one-time $50 bonus.

Team Commissions

This is the foundation of the AESA compensation plan. And it’s a binary compensation plan. These plans are measured on volume not levels.

With a binary compensation plan you have two legs. A right side and a left side. So, you can only have to 2 people on your front line. So, when you sponsor more people these people will be placed in the next available spot in one of your legs.

Also, your sponsor, or anyone else above you in the binary can place associates in your organization in either one of your legs. This is known as spillover.

In ASEA’s binary compensation plan you will be paid weekly. And the amount you will be paid is by calculating 10% of the group volume (GV) in your lesser binary tree leg. And you must have a minimum of 300 GV on each leg in order for team commissions payout to calculate.

 

 

Executive Momentum Bonus

As you rise through the executive ranks of ASEA, which are Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum you have the opportunity to receive a portion of ASEA’s global volume.

This volume is 2% of total global CV (commissionable volume). You share is determined by your rank and your group volume for that month.

Check Match

Just as the name implies with check match you can earn a match on the Team Commissions paid to associates you’ve personally sponsored and the ones they’ve sponsored up to seven generations.

The maximum amount of Team Commissions that you can match per associate in your personal enrollment tree within the qualified generations is $2,500 USD.

Diamond Pool

Once you get to the diamond ranks you have access to the diamond pool which is 3% of ASEA’s global volume. And your share is prorated based on your highest paid-at rank and its corresponding PGV depth. (personal group volume).

Is ASEA A Pyramid Scheme?

I wanted to answer this question because a lot of people confuse an MLM company with a pyramid scheme because of how the compensation plan works.

Now let me just get this out of the way ASEA is not a pyramid scheme. Yes, it’s true with ASEA you can build your business by recruiting people.

But that’s not the only way that you could make money through ASEA. You see, ASEA has actual products that you can purchase at wholesale and then sell at retail.

However, with a pyramid scheme, there are no products or services whatsoever. The whole business model is based on recruitment. There is no other way that you can make money because you don’t have a product or service to sell.

So again, ASEA is not a pyramid scheme it is a legitimate business opportunity.

But, Is This A Good Business Opportunity?

Okay, this is where we get into the nuts and bolts of my review of whether or not ASEA is a good business opportunity.

And personally, I feel ASEA is not a good business opportunity and here’s 4 of my top reasons why.

#1) The MLM Business Model Is Stacked Against You

There’s been countless reports of the dismal success rate people find within the MLM business model.

In one report done by By Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., Consumer Awareness Institute stated in his study of the MLM business model the following:

Our studies, along with those done by other independent analysts (not connected to the MLM industry), clearly prove that MLM as a business model – with its endless chain of recruitment of participants as primary customers – is flawed, unfair, and deceptive.

It also goes on to show that 99% of the people that get involved with an MLM will lose money.

You have better odds in Vegas of making money than you do of getting involved in an MLM to make money.

You can go online and do research on your own and you’ll find horror story after horror story of how people of lost money, lost friends and family and some is gone so far as even getting divorced because of being involved with an MLM.

Heck the Huffington Post even did an article of 10 horrors stories of people that got involved with an MLM.

No matter what anyone tells you getting involved with any MLM is a bad business model to use to build financial independence.

#2) You Have To Pay In Oder To Get Paid

As with most MLM’s you’re forced to buy a minimum amount of product each month.

And you’re told you need to do this so you can be eligible for any commissions or bonuses that you have earned.

Now of course the plan everyone has, or they’ve convince themselves, is to sell enough product or recruit enough people each month that this expense does not come out of pocket.

Great plan, too bad it usually does not work out that way. The majority of associates have to spend money out of pocket (not profits) to stay eligible.

And I find it absolutely ridiculous that you have to pay a company in order that you can get paid the money that you’ve earned.

And some people make the argument and say that’s the cost of doing business. No, it’s not. Buying product each and every month in order that you can receive your commissions is not the cost of doing business.

That’s done so the company can guarantee that it’s constantly making money from you and all those new recruits that you’re signing up. Remember this is a corporation and MLM business model is designed to sell products and make the company money.

They could care less that you’re making any money. As long as the company is, that’s what matters.

I make a full-time living online as an affiliate marketer and I don’t have to make a minimum purchase from any company every month in order to get paid.

Yes, I have a cost for doing business online, but like I said it doesn’t include paying someone every month in order for me to get paid.

My cost of business goes towards things such as web hosting, website security, computer security and so on.

That’s the cost of doing business. Not paying some company a bunch of money every single month so you can get the money that you legitimately earned.

#3) I Hope You Like Recruiting

Every MLM business model is based on recruiting people. Yes, you can retail the product but if you want to earn the big money every MLM promises, you need to recruit people.

So that means each and every day in order to build your business you’re going to have try and recruit people on the idea of getting involved in ASEA as a business opportunity.

Like most MLM’s you’re going to be told the first approach your friends and family. The reason is because this is considered your warm market and your warm market or people that you know.

So, this way it’s not as difficult pitching them on the business opportunity idea. But you’ll find like most people find out your friends and family have zero interest of getting involved in an MLM company.

And sometimes you actually piss off your family and friends because you approached him with a MLM business opportunity.

So, where does that leave you?

The only market you have left to recruit people on the idea of joining ASEA are people that you don’t know and this is known as a cold market. And recruiting people in a cold market is a lot tougher.

That brings me to this question. Does the thought of getting up each and every morning excite you knowing that you constantly have to be recruiting people in order to build your business?

Well if you’re like most people answer is no. And I don’t blame you because in essence you’re a salesperson. And if you’re like most people you don’t want to be a salesperson.

But that’s what you better be prepared for when you get involved with an MLM. And other than the crappy compensation plan that every MLM has.

There is no way you could get me to become a salesperson. And that’s why I love affiliate marketing so much because in all my years of earning a full-time living online as an affiliate marketer.

I’ve never had to recruit or sell a anything to a single person in order to grow my business.

#4) You Have To Rely On Your Team

Consistent reliable income you’re going to have to rely on your team. Because the majority of your commissions and bonuses are associated to your downline.

Now like every MLM they going to tell you teambuilding is easy. Because all you have to do is share the business opportunity with everybody.

But it’s not as easy as they tell you. In order for you to make money your downline has to be constantly recruiting and selling as well. So, it’s just not a matter of recruiting somebody and saying here go to it.

It requires a lot of training and follow-up on your part to make sure your team is doing what’s needed to be done so that you can make money and of course so they can make money.

But here’s the problem, you can’t force someone to be successful. You can tell someone this is what you have to do in order to be successful. But ultimately it falls upon them whether they do what they’re supposed to do.

So, when it comes to MLM all you can do is the best you can and hope the people stick around.

But don’t expect too many people to stick around. Because a minimum of 50% of MLM representatives drop out in the first year.

And that brings me back to my 3rd point. Because people are constantly dropping out of your downline, you’re going to have to replenish those people so you’re constantly recruiting.

And because of that the end result is you’re not building a passive income. Instead you’re constantly working hard to manage your team just to keep your business going.

And because of this constant revolving door of people getting in and leaving your downline it’s going to have a direct impact on your income.

I know the thought of earning income off the efforts of other people sounds great. But honestly, people aren’t reliable. And when it comes to yyour financial future, you don’t want to rely and other people to do it for you.

There Is A Better Way

There’s definitely a far better way making money online which doesn’t involve becoming a salesperson or recruiting people to build your business.

And that way is through Affiliate Marketing. In fact, more and more people that have been involved with MLM are switching to affiliate marketing.

And they’re making that switch because affiliate marketing is easily satisfying and even exceeding all of their financial needs.

And the best place that I know of to get all the training, tools, resources and personal one on one support to help you build a thriving affiliate marketing business is wealthy affiliate.

In fact, it’s wealthy affiliate that is help me grow my affiliate marketing business into a multiple six-figure a year income. And I never had to sell one product or recruit one person to build my business.

Another reason why people are so attracted to affiliate marketing is that they can now build a business around a hobby or passion.

Just think about that. Let’s say you’re into fishing, hiking, biking, car restoration or even bowties. I really could go on and on but my point is it doesn’t matter what your hobby or passion is you can turn that into a full-time online income.

So, if the thought of building a business around your hobby or passion gets you excited. And also knowing you’re never going to have to sell anything to anybody or ever recruit anybody to build your business.

Then I think you owe it to yourself to take a moment and check out wealthy affiliate and see everything they have to offer to you.

Now maybe affiliate marketing is for you and maybe it’s not. But you’re never going to know until you see what’s available to you.

And you can keep your wallet in your pocket. Because you can see everything wealthy affiliate has to offer for free.
