Now I’m in the financial market specifically the payday loan debt niche. So I know how great of an opportunity there is when it comes to the credit card niche.
This is a niche that continues to grow year upon year. It’s estimated that the credit card market is going to grow from 101 billion in 2022 to 106 billion by 2026.
And no wonder. On average the American population has 2.7 credit cards with 34% percent having 3 or more cards. And 14% of Americans have at least 10 credit cards.
And because of that, the average credit card debt per person in the United States is $5315. Making credit card debt the bulk of revolving debt in America.
So how did I come up with this list?
I researched 10 of the top financial websites to see which credit card companies they were promoting.
I knew if these sites were promoting these programs they were converting on these programs and they would be great programs to get involved with.
So let’s get to it.

American Express is known worldwide. Amex the shortened version of the company name was founded in 1850 and then began in Canada in 1853.
They are definitely a global financial leader not only providing credit cards they also provide travelers’ cheques, travel, financial planning, investment products, insurance, accounting, and international banking.
What I like about this affiliate program is it allows you to serve your Canadian visitors coming to your website. And the commissions you can earn are fantastic.
This is one of the most lucrative affiliate programs in this roundup. Keep in mind you will only earn a commission with an approved application, not just an application submission.
As for the commission. You can earn between $70.00 and $300.00 in commissions.

As this is a Canadian affiliate program all your commission will be paid in Canadian funds. Their affiliate program is managed through Commission Junction.
If you’re not a member of Commission Junction you’ll need to join their network before you can apply to join the Amex affiliate program.
Your commission will be paid to you monthly. I did not see any mention of promotional material such as banners and such. The cookie duration is short at only 7 days.

2) Destiny Mastercard
A lot of people have what you can call “challenging credit”. And as such applying for a credit card through a bank is not always an option.
And this is where Destiny Mastercard comes in. For your visitors that do have challenging credit, Destiny Mastercard can help people build better credit.
Destiny Mastercard is a full-fledged Mastercard and comes with all the perks of Mastercard and does not require a security deposit.
Prospective clients can apply for pre-qualification without affecting their credit score. Once approved the credit history of their card will be reported to all 3 major credit bureaus which helps build your credit score.
The affiliate program is managed through Flex Offers. The commission payout is $54.00 for every approved application.

This is another affiliate program that’s managed through Flex Offers. The cookie duration is Session Based. This means once a customer closes their browser the session ends.
The commission for this offer is $80.00 for every approved application. And your commissions will be paid to you monthly.

4) Bank Rate Credit Cards
Bankrate was founded in 1976 by Robert K. and since its beginning Bank Rate has been providing people with information regarding the best interest rates.
It started moving its business online in 1996. And then in 2004, it started providing financial education, insurance, and credit card offers.
Now Bank Rate Credit Cards is a credit card affiliate network which I think is very cool. Because being a network you have access to credit card offers from some of the nation’s largest issuers all in one spot.
Issuers such as Chase, Discover, American Express, Citi, and others.
In order to find out more about this network, you will need to apply to be a publisher through their website.
Now what I can tell you as an affiliate you will have access to data feeds, in-site tools, co-branding solutions as well and editorial content.
Now with this, you would be a sub-affiliate as you will not be joining a credit card affiliate program directly. And typically being a sub-affiliate you do earn less in commissions.
But with commission rates being up to $300 in some cases there is still plenty of opportunities to earn a good deal of money through the Bank Rate Credit Card network.

5) Luxury Card
Luxury Card is the issuer of premium credit cards (Mastercard). So this is a card that’s marketed to high-end customers.
And you know they are luxury cards because the cards themselves are made from stainless steel, carbon, and even 24-carat gold.
Of course cards like these come with a lot of perks such as exclusive travel benefits, cashback redemption rates, and 24/7 concierge service.
As for their affiliate program, this is the highest paying program in this roundup with a commission of $405 per approved account.

M1 is focused on helping people take control of their personal finances and build their wealth using their tools.
Along with a credit card offer they also have options for investing and borrowing. They also have their mobile app called The Finance Super App.
The affiliate program pays out $70.00 for an approved credit card application. You also earn additional commissions for Account creation: $25.00 and Initial funding: $25.00.
Impact Radius manages the affiliate program. You have a 30-day cookie duration. You do have access to images, videos, and other creatives for your marketing.

With Open Sky people simply choose the credit limit they want by making a refundable deposit between $200.00 and $3000.00. And now they have a credit card that they can use for everyday purchases.
Open Sky reports to all 3 major credit bureaus, Equifax®, Experian®, and TransUnion.
And in doing so it allows people who have no credit history to build one. As well as helping people rebuild their credit.

As an affiliate you’ve heard of affiliate networks such as Commission Junction, Flex Offers, Share A Sale, etc. But chances are you may not have heard of Commission Soup.
And that’s because Commission Soup is a CPA (cost per action) affiliate network just for credit cards.
As an affiliate, you will have access to credit card affiliate programs from companies such as Citi, Credit One, and American Express, along with many others.
What I like about CPA offers is that you will get paid when the potential client completes a certain action. And this could be anything from filling out an application to providing contact information such as a name and email address.
Now the commission rates are going to vary from client to client depending on the action that needs to be completed by a potential customer.
Once you join Commission Soup you will be assigned an account representative who will work with you to help find programs that will best suit your marketing plans.

9) Milestone Mastercard
Not everyone’s credit is perfect and because of that getting approved for a credit card can be a challenge.
And this is where Milestone Mastercard can help those with challenging credit. So if you’re audience is looking for a credit card that can help rebuild their credit Milestone is a great resource for them.
This Mastercard can be used anywhere that Mastercard is accepted in the United States. There is no deposit requierd. And customers can fill out a simple form on the site to see if they pre-qualify for the card.
And seeing if they pre-qualify does not affect people’s credit scores.
This affiliate program is managed through Flex Offers. And the payout is $30 per qualified lead.
You will be paid your commission monthly. Unfortunately, I did not see any mention of cookie duration. But if it is like other programs 30 days is typically the cookie length.

This Mastercard can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted in the United States
And customers can use the pre-qualifying form on Indigo’s website without impacting their credit scores. And no security deposit is required for this credit card either.
This is another affiliate program that’s through Flex Offers. With a payout of $30 per qualified lead. Your commissions are paid monthly.
Unfortunately, there was no mention inside Flex Offers on the cookie duration or if there are any creatives available. With that said, more often than not cookie duration is 30 days and there are creatives available.

Wrapping It Up
I want to stress this, the money to be made in this niche can be incredible. However, this is a fiercely competitive niche.
If you’re just starting out with affiliate marketing you may want to reconsider jumping to this market as your first niche. You may not see any profit for years because of the competition from very big authority websites.
Now I’m not here to discourage you. But if you’re like most people looking to get started with affiliate marketing you’re looking to see profits in far less time.
And that’s very doable when you’re not in such a cutthroat niche like credit cards.
I recommend if you’re just starting out to get into a niche where you can still make great money but you’re not going to be going head to head with huge authority websites that will slow down your progress.
