Welcome to my Everra review. So, what is Everra?
Well, it’s a new multi-level marketing cosmetic marketing company. And like all MLM companies they boost about a homebased business opportunity to anyone that’s willing to jump on board.
Ok, that’s great, but my question is. Is it really as good of an opportunity as they claim? Or is it something that you should take a pass on?
Well, that’s what we’re going to find out. I’m going to dig into this company’s business opportunity, the founder, the costs, the products, and how you make money.
So, by the time you’re done, you’ll have plenty of information to help you make a more informed decision as to whether or not Everra is for you.
Alright, let’s see what Everra is all about.

So, What Is Everra?
Everra is the newest kid on the block when it comes to cosmetic multi-level marketing companies to launch in the United States and in the United Kingdom. It was founded by Christopher Welch in 2019.
Now it’s not listed on their website, but from what I can see the company seems to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Now before I get into the products and business opportunity Everra. Let’s take a look at the guy running the show – Christopher Welch. Because if you’re going to get involved with this company you need to know who you’re getting into bed with sort of speak.
Well, it looks like Christopher has had a very interesting history when it comes to multi-level marketing.
He was the Vice President of International Marketing for another MLM called Younique from July 2014 to January 2016. (it’s still unknown if he left the company or was let go)
He then founded another beauty MLM company called Maëlle from February 2016 to March 2017. Interesting story. In 2017 Younique filed a lawsuit against Welch.
Alleging he was recruiting Younique distributors to join Maëlle. And because of a legal dispute with Younique products, Maëlle had to shut down for 5 months. (so he had to leave the company)
And then he founded an ESL teacher program called Naativ. (left the company)
Now in doing my research about Mr. Welch, yes there are people that think he just made some mistakes. Heck who doesn’t? But the majority of the reviews I found out about him and the term most used to describe him was “Con Artist”.
And the people calling him a con artist are referring to his company Naativ. Which is an online platform to teach people English as a second language (ESL).
Now it sounds like teachers where signing up to teach but the platform never really took off and many teachers had no one to teach.
And the few teachers that were teaching the few classes that were available were not getting paid for their work.
So naturally they were pissed off and frustrated. But instead of trying to solve the problem from what I’ve read Christopher was harassing them and threated to sue them. Well done Chris!
No surprise Christopher has since left the company. And that brings us to his latest company Everra.
I have to say. If this was a business opportunity I was considering. So far this Everra opportunity and the guy that’s behind it is not getting me that excited to join him on his latest venture.
The Products
Just like Bellame and many other MLM cosmetic companies I have reviewed. When it comes to Everra’s products there is nothing new here.
Here’s what they have available:
Lashes
At the time of my review of Everra their false eyelashes we available for pre-order only. There are 4 different styles to choose from all costing $34.00. Except their, I Am Strong style which costs $39.00.
Skincare
Currently, you’ll find 3 products for skincare.
- Everra InstaLast Serum – $39.00
- Everra Eye Serum – $64.00
- Everra Face Serum – $69.00
Wellness
When it comes to wellness products you can go on subscription and have them delivered monthly. If you do you do get a discount on the product price.
- Everra Hair & Nail Health – $34.00 – subscribe for $29.00
- Everra Health Boost – $39.00 – subscribe for $24.00
- Everra Skin Health – $89.00 – subscribe for $84.00
- Everra Green Tea – $74.00 – subscribe for $64.00
- Everra Shield – $63.00 – subscribe for $54.00
- Everra Energy – $53.00 – subscribe for $44.00
Cosmetics
Along with cosmetic brushes, brow groomer, brow liner and a eye lash applicator. You’ll find the typical cosmetic products:
- Eye Liner – $29.00
- Lip gloss – $15.00
- Mascara – $16.00
- Concealer – $21.00
- Eye Shadow – $31.00
- Bronzers – $31.00
Ok, I’m a guy and I don’t know much about cosmetics. But with that said. I don’t see anything special about these products.
Yeah, the packaging is nice but you can find any one of these products in a hundred different store and even on Amazon. And I know they would cost a lot less.
The one thing that every MLM company has in common is that their products cost more. And it’s not because their products are any better than any other products you can find on the open market.
They cost more because they need that extra cash in order to pay out on their compensation plan. There is no other reason.
And because MLM products are more expensive it’s harder to sell them.
So, How Much Is It To Get Started With Everra?
If you want to join Everra you’re going have to have the name of the “influencer” that introduced you to Everra. An “influencer” is what Everra distributors are called. Once you have your influencer you can then join Everra.
The fee for joining is $34.00. And you can choose from 2 different bundles. You do have the option of buying additional products when you join but you don’t have to.

- 1 Easy on the Eye Mascara
- 1 Everra Eye Shadow Palette
- 1 Love Your Lips Gloss
Wellness Starter Bundle
This bundle includes
- Energy – 10 packets
- Shield – 10 packets
- Green Tea – 20 packets
How Do You Make Money With Everra?
The Everra compensation plan is a Binary structure. Which means you have a right leg and a left leg to your business.
When you start you will have recruited 1 person for your left and right leg. These people in turn recruit 2 people like you did and so on and so on.
The commission flow upwards. And this is known as your upline. And the people below you are known as your downline. So, you can see with an MLM compensation plan having a large downline is required to make the big money every MLM company talks about.
So, this means you and your downline need to be constantly recruiting and selling in order for this business to be profitable.
Keep reading I’m about to share a very scary MLM statistic with you.
Now like every other compensation plan I have read they are confusing and complicated to understand. And Everra is no different.
And to this day I don’t truly understand MLM compensation plans. But what I do know for sure. When it comes to all MLM compensation plans no matter how many ways they say you can earn money.
It really only boils down to 2 ways of earning money:
- Retail sales
- Recruiting people into your downline
And just like every MLM compensation plan you have to meet certain requirements in order to work your way up the ranks of the compensation plan and be eligible for those bonuses at those ranks.
With the Everra compensation plan they have 12 ranks.

Now that does show you the ranks and such but for a better understanding how their compensation plan works and what you need to do to work your way up the ranks.

So, Can You Expect To Make Money With Everra?
Now at the time of my review Everra does not have an income disclosure statement that I could find.
Now they may have one in the future, but like I said for now there’s not one available. I also want to note this is a private company so they don’t have to provide you an income disclosure statement.
But the reason why you want to see an income disclosure statement is because it shows you the yearly historical income data of active distributors (influencer).
And by seeing this historical data you can make a much more informed decision as to whether or not you want to get involved with this or any other MLM company.
Okay, they don’t have an income disclosure statement. So, the question is can you make money with Everra?
As with any MLM business opportunity there is the opportunity to make money.
But will you? No, the reality is your chances are slim to none.
Remember I said I had a very scary statistic when it came to people who join MLM companies?
Here it is.
A study done by the Consumer Awareness Institute shows that 99% of people that get involved with an MLM company will lose money. You can read that study on the FTC website.
Despite what you’re being told MLM is one of the worst business models you can use to try and make money from home.
But of course, you’ll never be told that by the person that’s trying to recruit you into their business. All they’re going to talk about is all the money that you can make and how making all this money is going to change your life.
They’re selling you the dream. They’re not telling you the reality of multi-level marketing. And of course, if they did no one would join.
No wonder over 50% of people that get involved with multi-level marketing will quit within the first year.
What I Like About Everra
#1) Low Startup
Compared to a lot of other MLM business opportunities the startup cost to get involved with Everra is very low.
For only $34 you can get involved with Everra. The other good thing is you don’t have to buy additional products. Once you pay your $34 you are an influencer.
#2) New Company
At the time my review Everra is just over a year old. So, if multi-level marketing is a business opportunity that you think is in your wheelhouse.
You’re starting with a new company so that means you’re going to have a lot less other influencers out there that you have to compete with in order to build your business.
What I Didn’t Like About Everra
#1) Very Competitive Market
Everra has placed themselves in one of the most competitive and saturated markets on the entire planet.
You’re not only competing with other powerhouse MLM companies such as Mary Kay and Avon. But you’re also in competition with all the stores in the real world that sell cosmetics.
Honestly, what’s the big advantage of buying products from this company when you can head down to your local cosmetics store or head to places like Amazon and buying the same thing and for less money?
#2) Christopher Welsh Doesn’t Have The Best Reputation
As I mentioned at the beginning of my review here Christopher was sued by Younique for allegedly using insider information to recruit people to Maëlle the MLM company that is associated with at that time, and no longer with.
And being called out as a scammer related to his other company Naativ where teachers weren’t getting paid. And instead of trying to solve the problem Christopher decided to harass and threaten to sue them.
I’m sorry if that’s the way he deals with people and the way that he does business. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t feel very comfortable getting involved with this latest venture that he’s involved with.
#3) Very Low Success Rate
Despite what you’re being told when it comes to an MLM business opportunity. The chances of succeeding within an MLM business is slim to none.
There’s been study after study proving that people that get involved with MLM have a 1% chance of succeeding. The other 99% lose money.
And not only do people lose money. The majority of people will end up in more debt once they quit the MLM than they were before they joined an MLM.
#4) Constant Recruiting
In order to make that big money that all these MLM companies talk about. You’re going to have to be constantly recruiting people into your business in order for your business to grow.
So, the reality with that is that you’re going to have to turn into a salesperson. You’re going to have to wake up every single day and not only try to sell products.
But you’re going to have to try to sell people on the idea of getting involved with your business.
And if you’re like most people you will talk to your friends and family first. And you’ll soon discover the most people want nothing to do with an MLM business. But you may find a few people buy some products from you mostly out of sympathy to help you get started. But won’t buy anything after that.
Then once you’ve gone through all your friends and family. You now have to turn to what’s called a cold market. And a cold market is where nobody knows you.
So now you’re going to have to try to convince people that you don’t know and people that don’t know you to get involved with your business.
I want to ask you 2 questions. And I want you to honestly answer them.
How easy does that sound? And how fun does that sound?
Well for me it doesn’t sound that easy. And it certainly doesn’t sound very fun getting up every morning knowing I’ve got to try to convince someone to join my business so I can buld my business. No thank you!
My Final Opinion Of Everra
Does Everra have a business opportunity? Yes, they do. But here’s the thing, there’s nothing special about their products or the business opportunity itself to make it stand out from the all the other MLM companies selling the same products.
So, your competition is going to be fierce when it comes to trying to sell your products and when you’re trying to get people into your business.
Plus, I believe women want a lot of choices when it comes to their cosmetics. And I don’t think women want to be limited to buying their products from only one company.
Especially from a company that at the moment has a very limited selection. The challenge that you’re going to come up against is that not only do other MLM companies like Mary Kay and Avon who have hundreds of products to choose from who are your competition.
And let’s not forget the hundreds of retail stores that carry makeup and cosmetics that women can just go into and buy what they want right away without having to go through some sales rep. Or women can simply head to Amazon and get what they want there.
And remember in order to really build this business, you’re going to have to constantly be recruiting people into your business. So that means you need to love to network and love being a salesperson. As well as constantly having to train and motivate your team so your business can grow.
Also, another thing to keep in mind is that many brand-new MLM companies don’t survive past five years. Plus, the guy that’s in charge of this company is nobody that I would get involved with considering his business and MLM track record.
Now with that said if you been introduced to the products by either a friend or a family member and you like the products. By all means purchase them as a retail customer and get that discount.
But when it comes to the business opportunity it’s probably not going come as much of a surprise when I tell you this is not a business opportunity that I think you should get involved in.
However, if you think you can beat the odds and be in that 1% of people that actually make money with Everra, then go for it and I wish you nothing but success.
Ok, If Not MLM, Then What?
Well there’s a much better alternative to starting a home-based business online then multi-level marketing.
And one of the most proven and successful business models for making money online is Affiliate Marketing.
But unlike multi-level marketing with affiliate marketing….
- You never have to recruit anybody to build your business
- You don’t have to become a sales person
- You don’t have to meet ridiculous quotas or qualifications in order to earn money
- You never have to approach your friends and family to build your business
- You own and have total control of your business 100%
- You can promote any product or service you want
- You don’t have to buy some product or bundle kit to get your business going
And what I think is one of the best things about affiliate marketing….
You can build your entire affiliate marketing business around your hobby or your passion
So even if your passion is makeup and cosmetics you can turn that passion into a full-time online income without having to join some MLM company.
So, for example you could become an affiliate for BK Cosmetics. And becoming an affiliate for any company is absolutely free.
And now you can start promoting their cosmetics and anytime someone purchases cosmetics through your affiliate link you make money.
But let’s say you don’t want to promote every product that BK Cosmetics has. That’s fine, you can go join another affiliate program from a different company and promote those products as well.
As an affiliate markter you’re 100% in control and ownership of your business and gives you complete flexibility in regards to how you want to build your business.
Unlike with an MLM company where you have meet specific qualifications and requirements in order to earn money.
Now if this sounds a lot better than being under the thumb of some multi-level marketing company.
