So What Is 1k A Day Fast Track?

The 1k A Day Fast Track system is about affiliate marketing, the course is on the expensive side, and you will need to risk & spend more money because it focuses on paid advertising using one primary traffic source.

Today we’re going to dig into the 1k A Day Fast Track system created by Merlin Holmes, just one of the countless courses teaching people how to make money through affiliate marketing.

His course is really not that special, meaning what he is teaching you is nothing new. This type of affiliate marketing has been going on for years.

The reason his course is getting attention is definitely the title of the course. He’s going to show you a simple 3-step formula on how you can make $1000 per day using this affiliate marketing method.

Now, will you?

Sure the potential is there. But the reality is most people won’t. And it’s not because what he is teaching doesn’t work. It does work. More on that a little later.

The reason why some people will not see success is that a lot of people can’t meet the monthly budgeting requirements for this type of marketing before seeing a profit.

I’ll cover all the expenses attached to this type of marketing in a moment.

But first, let’s talk about the course itself.

What Is 1k A Day Fast Track?

This training is showing you how to make money using a funnel system that builds a mailing list that you can market while at the same time making money on the front-end offer of this funnel.

And the traffic being driven to your sales funnel is done with paid traffic through a company called Revcontent which is a resource for buying native ads.

So, did you understand all that?

Chances are you’re probably a little fuzzy on how this works. So let’s break it down.

But Before We Do, Who Is Merlin Holmes?

Merlin is a very successful internet business owner with 16-year experience and has worked in dozens of markets.

And over the course of his career has generated over $150,000,000 in sales. DAME!!

He has also consulted for billion-dollar companies showing them his marketing techniques.

Merlin is the real deal. He is not some so-called look at me I’m an internet guru, listen to me wannabe.

Keep in mind all of this is going to be taught to you in detail in the course.

Step One

You’re going to find out what people are already buying. And the place that you’re going to do that is ClickBank. Clickbank is free to join as an affiliate marketer.

Step Two

Once you’ve found a product in ClickBank. Your next step is to find out how the product is being sold. And to do that you simply click on the title of the product inside Clickbank and it will bring you to the sales page.

Step Three

Next, you’re going to write down the headline on the sales page.

Step Four

Now turn that headline into a simple question. That’s if you need to. In this example, you don’t need to it’s already a question.

Step Five

Now you’re going to use Merlin’s Yes/No email template to bring in email addresses.

According to Merlin, this system works in the:

If there is a yes or no question to be asked there is a poll that can be run.

So, How Does The Fast Track System Work

Step One – Capturing The Email Address

When people come to your landing page there are presented with a poll question Yes or No.

No matter which button they hit a popup appears asking them to enter their email address to cast their vote and see the results.

Step Two – Offer The Product

When they enter their email address they’re then redirected to a page showing the poll results as well as product that they have already expressed interest in.

Step Three – Earn Instant Commision

So how do you earn instant commission?

When someone gives you their email address and they get to the poll page showing the results.

There is a piece of javascript (software) on that page that will automatically redirect them to the sales page of the product you featured in your poll.

And if they have said yes in the poll, there is a very high probability that they will buy the product. Because you have provided them with information and the solution that they were looking for. In this case how to lose weight.

This is a highly effective sale funnel (process). And every time someone buys the product you earn an instant commission from that sale.

But That’s Only The Start

The biggest key to this is the email list that you are building. This is where the real money is.

There are two guarantees offered by Merlin.

The other guarantee is from Merlin himself. If you do decide to stick with the program and you’ve followed every step and you still have not made any money within 90 days.

Merlin will jump on a call with you and fix your business. I think that it’s more of one of his team members that will jump on a call with you. But if it’s Merlin himself, that’s very cool.

Let’s Look At The Costs

Ok, the 1k a day fast track course including all the bonuses is going to cost you a one-time payment of $997.00.

But here’s the thing to put this system in motion you’re going to have ongoing costs.

The first is Clickfunnels. Now if you’re not familiar with Clickfunnels it’s a SaaS company.

SaaS (software as a service) and that service allows you to create funnels. It a very intuitive using drag and drop to build your funnels.

Everything associated with Merlin’s program is designed to work with Clickfunnels.

Clickfunnels is not cheap. The basic service costs $147.00 per month.

You will need your own domain name. This will cost you on average $15 per year.

Next and what will be another ongoing monthly expense, but hopefully one that does not put you in the negative.

And this is using paid advertising through Revcontent. This is native advertising.

Now to get started with Revcontent you need a minimum of $50.00 to open your account and a minimum $100.00 per day budget.

The advertising you’ll be doing through Revcontent is native CPC (cost per click).

This means you’re going to bid on keywords related to your offer to get your ad to show up on the Revcontent marketplace.

Now depending on the bid amount needed for your ad to be displayed this is what you’re going to pay each time someone clicks on your ad, regardless if they buy the product you’re promoting or not.

When done right this can be very profitable, when done wrong it can be very expensive.

So regardless of the training, there is a learning curve and it will cost you money.

When doing this advertising you can start with $100 to $300 per month. But you must be prepared to lose this money. There is ZERO guarantee of success.

Sendlane is the autoresponder of choice for Merlin and his system. This is the service you use to send your email messages automatically.

Sendlane services start at $100.00 per month for up to 5000 subscribers. Now Sendlane does offer a free 14-day trial. And then you’ll need to pay.

So, where are we at?

• Course cost – $997.00 on time

• Clickfunnels – $147.00 monthly

• Sendlane autoresponder – starts at $100.00 per month for 5000 subscribers.

• Revcontent – $150.00 to get things activated and then your monthly ad budget of at least $100.00.

Now, of course, the Revcontent advertising will increase but at that point, you should be making a profit to cover all your expenses.

Also, keep this in mind. Depending on the product you’re promoting the bid competition could be higher.

And if your advertising budget is smaller and if you’re paying a higher bid amount that means the number of clicks per day you can afford will be lower. So your daily budget can get eaten up quicker because of the higher bid amount.

So, you better be sure your conversions are spot on. Obviously, you want to make more than you spend with paid advertising.

I Tested Their Support

Support is critical, especially when something is new.

Now while watching the webinar, I knew this program was using Clickfunnels for the funnels.

So, I emailed support – support@thefasttrack.com

And here’s what I asked.

My question is, do I own everything? I understand that all the templates, software, and such are yours. But can I use what you provide on my own domain and use my tools? I have an autoresponder (Aweber), and I have landing page software both Thrive Architect and OptimizePress, I have domain names with WordPress installed. I have hosting. I have everything already. Except for the thank you page cash generator software, which I assume can be installed on my site(s).

Why did I ask this?

I wanted to see if they would help with the workaround or just tell me I had to do things and use the tools as it’s taught.

To my surprise, they offered help with the workaround.

They said they could provide me with the HTML for the templates so I could use them with my funnel software.

They would also provide me instructions regarding tracking software that tallies the poll votes on the thank you page. So I can easily get a programmer to create the same script for cheap.

I also thought if they can do that, I can go one step further and get a programmer who could create the same software that Merlin uses to automatically redirect people from the poll results page to the product you’re promoting.

So just for the hell of it, I contacted a fellow I’ve used before and he said he could easily create both scripts for under $150. And now I own the code for both.

Of course, this is not practical for a beginner. But I like the fact if you wanted to you could do this using other far less expensive services than Clickfunnels ($1,764 per year). And use programs such as Thrive or OptimizPress. And own everything.

• Thrive Architect (suite) – $299.00 per year – 5 domains (this is what I use)
• OptimizPress cost – $249.00 per year – 5 domains

Both of these options are more than just funnel creators.

Alright, What’s The Upside Of 1k A Day Fast Track?

The big takeaway is everything is provided to you. More or less a done-for-you system. So, getting things up and running can be done quickly.

• Step-by-step training, templates, traffic resources, and support.

• Merlin is a legitimate online marketer and trainer with a proven track record.

• The funnel system that he has does work. You can make money this way.

• This type of list building has been done for years. His is just a different approach.

• It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

• Plenty of bonuses. The best in my opinion is getting another account for free.

What’s The Downside? Things You Need To Be Aware Of With The 1k A Day Fast Track System

The Cost Of The Course Itself.

The course is not cheap. It comes in at a cost of $997.00. And that is a lot of money to spend if you’re just starting out in online marketing.

The Recommended Autoresponder Cost Is High.

You can get services for far less. For example, you can start for free up to 500 subscribers with Aweber. And then you need to pay once you are at 501 to 2,500 subscribers – which is $29.99 per month.

For 5000 subscribers the cost is $49.99 per month. Much less per month than Sendlane.

Also, Clickfunnels does work with Aweber and plenty of other autoresponder services.

Paid Traffic

Paid traffic is the primary traffic source. Expect to spend $100 at a minimum for traffic. It’s probably going to be more like $200 to $300 per month to start.

And be prepared to lose that money too. I say that because there is no guarantee you’ll make a profit. Despite what Merlin or anyone else tells you.

When it comes to paid traffic, yes, people will click on your ad but there will be plenty of people that will not give up their email addresses. And that will cost you money.

Just remember when it comes to CPC (cost per click) advertising, every click costs money to you.

Also, understand when it comes to paid traffic as soon as you stop spending money or you can afford to spend money for traffic all your traffic to your website stops.

And then your ability to build your mailing list and make those instant commissions stops too.

Overhyped Income Claims

Throughout the webinar, Merlin tosses out a lot of BIG income claims and earning potential. And I get that, this is a sales video so all you’re going to hear is the good stuff.

Remember, you’re hearing what’s not typical. Not everyone is going to see the success that he or even his other students have.

For example, this is a snapshot of one part of his webinar.

When you see stuff like this of course you’re curious. This evokes the thought you can start making this kind of money right away. The – “get rich quick” thinking.

Yes, some people can make $500 commissions after taking the training in his course and make this money with no expenses in as little as 24 hours.

And that $500 is the commission you can earn promoting his 1k a day fast track program.

But, the people he is referring to who can make $500 commissions within 24 hours are people that already have a mailing list.

Something he never mentions. And in his webinar, he says his data shows that 85% of people that take his course are beginners.

So that means 85% of the people that buy his course have no mailing list.

I’m mentioning this because you have to step back a hear what’s really being told to you.

Merlin says he’s not a salesperson. But that could not be further from the truth. Merlin is an expert salesperson. And of course, there is nothing wrong with that.

So, don’t be fooled when he tells you he’s not. You don’t make over $150,000,000 if you suck at sales.

Additional Costs

Yes, it takes money to build and run a business. But in the webinar, you’re never told exactly what these additional costs are.

What you’re told is all you need is 2 incredibly inexpensive tools to make the fast-track system work for you. Sorry, that’s not entirely true.

Remember the breakdown of the ongoing expenses?

• Clickfunnels – $147.00 monthly

• Sendlane autoresponder – starts at $100.00 per month for 5000 subscribers.

• Revcontent – $150.00 to get things activated and then your monthly ad budget of at least $100.00.

Minus the $150.00 for the first-time setup of Revcontent. For your ongoing expenses, you’re looking at a minimum of $347.00 per month.

Merlin calls that inexpensive. I don’t call that inexpensive, do you?

Would I Recommend His Program?

So, do I recommend the 1k A Day Fast Track?

Yes, but with caution to beginners.

On the one hand, I would recommend this to someone that has marketing experience because the system does work.

This type of funnel-building and email marketing has been around for years. And it has been proven to work. You can do very well with this type of marketing stratagy.

But I cautiously recommend it to beginners. Despite what you’re being told in the webinar there is a lot more to this type of marketing than you’re being led to believe, no matter what templates and tools you’re being provided.

This is affiliate marketing using paid advertising as your traffic source. Yes, it can be profitable but it is also risky, especially if you have no online marketing experience.

If you do decide to spend the money on this course please understand what you’re getting involved with. And be sure you have the additional resources (money) you can risk (lose) to do this type of marketing.

There are ZERO guarantees you’ll see success quickly or at all. That’s the reality of online marketing.
