So, what is Touchstone Essentials?

Touchstone Essentials is a multi-level marketing company that was founded by Norwood Eddie Stone back in 2012. His company manufactures CBD infused products designed to help improve your health.

And being a multi-level marketing company, they also have a business opportunity available. And that’s what I’m going to get into in this post, their business opportunity.

Yes, I’m going talk about the products they have to offer. But I’m mostly going to focus on the business opportunity itself.

Now, before you go any further you need to know I’m simply here to show you the pros and cons of Touchstone Essentials and give you my personal opinion regarding their business opportunity. What you decide to do after reading my review is up to you.

And with that said, let me first say, good on you for taking the time to do your own research before getting involved with any business opportunity. That alone tells me your serious about finding a legitimate way to make money online.

I just want to mention the prices for the above products are for one time purchases. You can get a discount if you go on their monthly Autoship program.

Now, when it comes to products within the health and wellness niche every company claims that their products can do what they say they do. But you have to remember none of these products are approved by the FDA.

And as such they don’t have to prove that they work or even if they’re safe for you to take.

And that’s why you’ll find the following disclosure at the bottom of their website:

I’m just saying take all their claims regarding what their products can do with a grain of salt. In reality the only way you’re going to know if these products do what they say they do, is by you trying them yourself.

So, How Much Is It To Get Started With Touchstone Essentials?

There are a few options for being part of Touchstone Essentials. You can simply become an affiliate of the company. And as an affiliate there’s no cost, no commitment, no monthly fees and no hidden fees when you join.

As an affiliate you will get a free TheGoodInside.com replicated e-commerce website where people can buy the products.

Here’s how you earn as an affiliate.

Now to take advantage of their whole compensation plan and business opportunity you need to become what they call a Visionary Business Owner (VBO).

Now to become a VBO you need to pay a $19.95 for your VBO Pass. This is an annual fee. Now at this point you have the option of purchasing 1 of 3 Packs.

Now this is an option, you don’t have to. You can just pay the $19.95 and you’re good to go. But just paying that you are starting at the lowest earning potential within their compensation plan.

Buying one of the packs will give you a head start with your business by placing as an Active member. And being an Active member gives you the ability to earn more and be eligible to climb the ranks within their compensation plan.

The Detox Pack and the Transform Pack do not include the cost for the VBO Pass. In order to have that included you will need to purchase the most expensive pack – the Advantage Pack for $659.00.

They also give you the option to customize your first order if you don’t want to purchase one of these packs.

Now there is a monthly requirement you need to meet to stay an Active Member. To be Active you need to have an auto shipment of products each month that are equal to or more than 100 CV.

Touchstone Essentials Compensation Plan

Retail

This is pretty straightforward. Buy at wholesale, sell at retail and you keep the profits. (10% to 20% commission)

Referral Bonus

The referral bonuses are paid weekly and is paid on all new orders placed in the first 90 days.

Advanced Referral Bonus

In any month with 10 personally enrolled VBOs, Affiliates or Customers, new or existing, who each have 50+ PV (personal volume). You earn 3 times the residual bonus on all of your first level personal enrollments. Which adds up to a 15% payout instead of a 5% payout

Rank Advancement Bonus

You can earn this bonus when you achieve a new rank for 2 consecutive months and have 100 PV.

Team Builder Bonus

You can earn a matching rank advancement bonus on all personal enrollments. To qualify for this bonus you must be at the same rank or higher than the newly advancing VBO and have 100 PV.

Star Bonus Program

Advanced status VBO’s are eligible for the Star bonus.

Residual bonus

You can earn up to 10 levels on all reorders throughout your organization. The higher your rank, the more levels you can earn.

Royalty Bonus

Based on your rank you can earn up to 20% on your personally enrolled VBO’s up to 5 levels

Infinity Bonus

Starting at the rank of Ambassador you can earn an additional 1% to 2% on your entire organization to infinity down to the next qualifying Ambassador.

So, Can You Expect To Make Money With Touchstone Essentials?

Touchstone Essentials does not have an income disclosure statement that I could find. Now they are a privately held company so they don’t have to provide one for you.

But with an income disclosure statement you can see the average earnings of distributors. And this information gives you a true indication of what your odds are of actually making some money with this business opportunity.

Now with that said, this is a multilevel marketing company. And with an income disclosure statement or not your chances of making a significant income, and when I say significant income, I mean a full-time income. It is negligible.

In fact, many studies have shown that 99% of people that do get involved with a multilevel marketing company, lose money.

And just by looking at their compensation plan I can see how a lot of people are going to to lose money.

Because their own compensation plan says that you have to have a minimum of 100 CV points each month in order to be considered active, which allows you to be eligible to earn commissions.

Well, if you’re not selling 100 CV points of product each month you’re going to end up doing what a lot of distributors end up doing. And that’s purchasing products yourself so you can stay active.

And the reason why distributors do that of course is yes to stay active. But they also have it in their mind that they can turn this around and they can start making money and earn their investment back as well as make a profit.

But the problem is this turns into a vicious cycle and people end up buying products  month after month in order to stay eligible for those commissions and never seeing profits.

And that’s the same mentality as a gambler that’s constantly losing and says to themselves “If I keep betting, I can win my money back”.

The truth of the matter is multilevel marketing compensation plans are definitely in the favor of the company not the distributors.

What Are People Saying About Touchstone Essentials?

If you head to the Better Business Bureau website, you’ll see that Touchstone Essentials holds an A+ rating and they have been accredited since 2014.

Now at the time of this writing they have 10 reviews on the BBB website and these are all positive reviews. And currently they have 0 negative reviews. Which I find odd that there are no negative reviews. Now, the last positive review was given in 2018.

Now, this does give you a little insight into what people think of their products but you have to remember there are only 10 reviews. I’m sure more than 10 people have used their products.

Touchstone Essentials products are also sold through Amazon and there again you will find positive reviews. But you will also find some negative reviews.

The thing is, if you’re going to get involved with this business yes it’s a good idea to take the temperature of a company by what others say. But to really know if these products live up to what they say they can do. You need to buy some of these products and try them for yourself.

You don’t need to join the company. You can just purchase products as a customer and give these products a try. Consider this part of your research into this business opportunity.

Nobody should get involved with any business unless they have fully researched the company and the products that the company represents.

Bottom line, you want to know what you’re getting involved with before you jump in with both feet.

What I Like About Touchstone Essentials

#1) Large Product Line

Touchstone Essentials has a pretty extensive product line which gives you a larger customer base for selling your products.

#2) Growing Market

CBD is one of the biggest growing industries. In fact, a study reported in an article in Forbes Magazine says this CBD market could be as much as $20 billion by 2024.

#3) There Is An Opportunity

Touchstone Essentials is providing a legitimate home-based business opportunity for the right person.

What I Didn’t Like About Touchstone Essentials

#1) High Startup Cost

If you want to be able to access their full compensation plan, you’re going to need to purchase the advance pack that cost $695.00, plus the $19.95 VOB Pass.

Plus, you need to sell $100 of product per month to be considered active so you are eligible for those commissions. Unfortunately, most distributors are going to end up paying that $100 out-of-pocket each month so they are considered active.

#2) Low Success Rate

It’s been proven time and time again that multilevel marketing is one of the worst ways you can try to make money. As the studies have shown the majority of people lose money.

And when it comes to multilevel marketing companies Touchstone Essentials is nothing special and there’s nothing that makes them stand out when it comes to your opportunity of making money.

#3) No Income Disclosure Statement

Without having the opportunity to see an income disclosure statement you have no historical data on which to make an informed decision as to whether or not this is going to be a profitable business for you.

#4) Expensive Products

As it is with most MLM companies Touchstone Essentials products are expensive compared to similar products that you can find on the open market. Remember potential customers are going to be price conscious.

And because of that you could find it challenging to sell your products. Especially when people can find similar products at places like Amazon or their local health store for a lot less money.

#5) The Market Is Becoming Saturated

The CBD oil market is getting more and more competitive each and every year. And with the rise of more multilevel marketing companies entering the CBD oil market it’s just going to become more difficult to move your business forward.

And this is where you can’t fall into that trap and start believing the hype and advertising from these multilevel marketing companies whose goal is to maximize their profits from the market and from building their membership.

#6) Recruiting Is Needed To Build Your Business

As with all multilevel marketing companies in order to earn the big money they claim you can earn you’re not going to do that just by retailing the product. You’re going to have to start recruiting people into your business.

And this recruitment process never stops. You’re going to have to recruit people on a consistent basis because you’ll find that over 50% of the people you recruit are going to quit within the 1st year.

So, this means you have to be prepared to become a serial recruiter. And this is why most people fail in MLM marketing. They just can’t sustain that recruitment process. It may sound easy to do but recruiting people on a regular basis gets harder and harder every day.

My Final Opinion Of Touchstone Essentials

Look, there’s no denying that Touchstone Essentials has a legitimate home-based business opportunity available. But when it comes to the income opportunity, I just don’t see it.

This after all is a multilevel marketing company and as mentioned it’s been proven time and time again the MLM business model is one of the worst business models anyone could use to try to earn an income.

And because of that this is not a business model that I recommend you follow.

Now, with that said, I don’t know you. You may be the exception to the rule and have the personality and the skill set to knock it out of the park with Touchstone Essentials using their MLM business model.

And if you feel that you can beat the odds and make this business a huge success then go for it and I wish you nothing but the best.

But here’s the thing, if your passion and interest is in health and wellness you don’t have to join a MLM company to build a thriving online business.

Now, Touchstone Essentials does have an affiliate program that you can join. So if CBD oil is something you want to get into you can join their affiliate program and not be involved with the MLM side of things. Or you could join any other company that offers an affiliate program selling CBD oil.

But if CBD oil is not your thing and you have a different passion or hobby you would like to build your business around. You can turn that hobby or passion into a full-time online income as an affiliate marketer.

In fact, it makes no difference what your passion or interest is you can turn it into a full-time online income as an Affiliate Marketer.
