What Is Natura Brasil? Opportunity – Yes Or No?

I got an email from a visitor and they asked me if I’ve heard of Natura Brasil and if so, what is Natura Brasil all about? Is it an MLM, a pyramid scheme or what?

Well truth be told I had never heard of Natura Brasil so I was more than happy to take a look at this company and the opportunity they have to offer. Anytime I can find a true opportunity for people to check out I’m all over it.

And on the flip side if it turns out to be something that people may want to reconsider as a possible homebased business opportunity, I want to share that too.

So today I’m taking a look a Natura Brasil to see if this is a good opportunity for or not.

A Little Bit About Natura Brasil

The company was started in 1969 by Antonio Luiz Seabra in São Paulo. They’ve since grown to now operate in 73 countries. Natura & Co also owns Natura Cosmeticos, The Body Shop, Aesop, and Avon.

What makes Natura Brasil a standout company in this market is they develop all their formulas from renewable ingredients from the Brazilian Amazon Forest.

They are 100% vegan and have banned all ingredients from animal origin in their formulas. They have been certified by PETA and also by Cruelty Free International. And they are also Leaping Bunny approved.

So, this means they do not test their products on animals. And me being a huge animal lover this is a company I would buy from because of that.

Now when it comes to pricing, they seem to be in line with the pricing of other companies in this market. And of course, if you look around on places like Amazon you can find similar products for less money.

So, when it comes to their products and the prices they’re charging it’s going to come down to the quality of the products to justify the price.

I suggest if you’re looking into becoming an affiliate for them it’s best that you buy some of the products and give them a try. This way you can judge the quality of the products for yourself.

If you like them and you decide to join Natura Brasil selling the products is going to be much easier because you can share your experience about the products you’ve tried.

Also, when you think about it selling products you’ve never used is going to be a lot harder. Simply because most people are going to ask you which products you like. And if you’ve never tried them. I doubt anyone would buy anything from you. And why would they.

Getting Started

In order to become an affiliate for Natura Brasil you’ll first need to join Awin. Awin is a affiliate network who manages their affiliate program.

When you click on the Join Now link on their affiliate page, you’ll be taken to an information page giving you an overview of their affiliate program and your commission and other things.

If you click on the Program Terms link, you’ll find additional information about PPC (pay per click), Branding – this is in regards to your own website. Transactions, Notice Periods, Publishers, and De-Duplication.

In my research I found other reviews saying Natura is an MLM. But I saw no signs of that on their website. But that does not mean it’s not so. Now, I’m a member of Awin so I went to their affiliate page inside Awin to see if there is a MLM component to their compensation plan.

What I looked for is the opportunity to make additional income through recruiting people into your business (downline) like other MLM companies offer. There is no mention when it comes to earning more money recruiting people like you find in a MLM company.

Now there still could be an MLM component. And I say that because I did not join their affiliate program because I do not have a website in the beauty niche so I would not be accepted.

But when you apply and get accepted if there is that additional income opportunity through recruiting they will have it outlined in their program.

They do have a refer a friend program where you can receive 30% of your next order when your friend places their first order.

How Do You Make Money With Natura Brasil?

You’re an affiliate so you’re going to earn money (commission) buy selling the products. And you can do this in several ways.

You can do face to face selling. But personally, after presenting your products to friends and family. I would focus on building your business online through your own website. Socail media and other online avenues.

So, Can You Make Money With Natura Brasil?

Of course you can make money with this business. However how successful you’ll be is all up to you.

Like any online business it’s going to take consistent effort to build your business. There are no short cuts.

What Training And Tools Can You Expect?

I could not find any information regarding the training when it comes to showing you how to build a website and then grow your website and revenue as an online affiliate marketer.

But not is all lost. If Natura Brasil is the company you want to be an affiliate for that’s great. You can then get all training, tools, resources and support for building a thriving affiliate marketing business inside wealthy affiliate.

How’s The Support?

As for support it looks like you’re mostly on your own. And I say that because there is no information on their website regarding any affiliate support. And I found no additional information inside Awin.

Awin is just the affiliate network, they do not provide support for growing your business for the affiliate programs within their network.

The Pros Of Natura Brasil

#1) Large Product Line

You have a lot of different products that you can market. Opening you up to a diverse clientele.

#2) Plant-Based Ingredients

Because of their formulations, their products do stand out from other companies that use chemicals to create their products. More and more people are becoming more conscious of how products are made.

And because of this it opens up a clientele that will be attracted to the products you have to offer.

#3) Solid Company

This company has been around since 1969 and is constantly growing through not only sales but through the acquisition of other brand name companies such as Avon.

If you do decide to become an affiliate there is no doubt this company will be around for the duration of your association with them.

#4) Solid Opportunity

This is a solid homebased business opportunity. If you dedicate yourself to your business you could make a success of things.

The Cons Of Natura Brasil

#1) Looks Like You’re On Your Own

From what I can see it looks like you’re on your own when it comes to building your business.

I found no mention of any training when it comes to building your website, driving traffic to your website and understanding how to scale and increase conversions on your website.

#2) Not The Best Default Commission

In the back of Awin where Natura Brasil’s affiliate program is. They show 6% default commission on their products. Not the greatest commission when it comes to affiliate marketing.

You’re going to have to sell a lot of products to make any decent money. There plenty of other affiliate programs in this market that pay a lot better default commission.

#3) No Guarantee Of Acceptance

Since their affiliate program is inside Awin. Awin decides if you’re approved or not. And part of an affiliate networks job is to make sure qualified affiliates are only approved to be part of the network.

And part of their approval process for Awin is you must have an active website, quality content, and a legal affiliate disclosure on your site.

They also have a screening fee which was $5 when I joined. So, this means you’re going to need a credit card to join Awin.

Once you’re approved you will get your processing fee returned to you when you make you first commissions. Or you can contact them and they will return it to you.

#4) Competitive Market

The beauty market is a very competitive market. And that includes a market with 100% vegan products. There are many companies in this space.

And if you’re just starting out as an affiliate, and not getting the proper training on how to build a successful affiliate marketing business you’re going to find that you’re going to have a harder time building your business.

So, Here’s What I Think Of Natura Brasil

At first when I started checking out Natura Brasil I thought I was going to come across another MLM company. But to my surprise I discovered that Natura Brasil is is offering an affiliate program.

Which is great. And yes I’m bias because I’m an affiliate marketer and have been making a fulltime living online as one since 2005.

So yes you have a legit business opportunity here. And if Natura Brasil is the company you want to jump into bed with. Then by all means do so. But just remember that Awin has its approval process you must clear before you can be accepted into the network.

And then once you’ve been accepted into Awin you will still need to apply to join the Natura Brasil affiliate program.

I need to mention one thing before you go. Learning to build a success affiliate marketing business takes time because of the learning curve.

And if you don’t have the most up to date training or mentoring while building your business you’re going to have many more challenges then you need to have.

Whether you decide to join Natura Brasil or some other affiliate program. If this is the beginning for you as an in affiliate marketer. I highly suggest you make sure you get the right training and support right from the get go.

I don’t want to see you get discouraged and quit affiliate marketing because you’re trying to build your business on your own. Affiliate marketing is a wonderful way of making money online.

And with that said. I recommend taking the time to see what wealthy affiliate has to offer you when it comes to training, tools, resources and most importantly support while building your business.
