What Is Maxbounty? It’s An Amazing CPA Network

I was chatting with a friend of mine a few days ago and our conversation included affiliate marketing and I was telling my friend there are other types of affiliate marketing resources for finding products and services like Maxbounty. And of course, he asked what is Maxbounty?

So, What Is Maxbounty?

Maxbounty is a performance-based marketing network, also known as a CPA network. So with networks like these as an affiliate, you are paid on a per-action basis. So for example you can be paid for someone providing an email address, filling in a form, generating a lead, or a completed purchase.

They are a Canadian-based company located in Ottawa. Maxbounty has been rated the #1 performance-based marketing network for over a decade. They currently have just over 20,000 active affiliates and over 1500 campaigns (verticals), and campaigns are being added all the time.

You’ll find everything from market research, diet, dating, finance, real estate, social games, surveys, travel, and more.

Getting Started With Maxbounty

Unlike other affiliate networks applying to Maxbounty is a little more involved. And what I mean is you are putting in an application to become part of their network. And not everyone is accepted.

And the reason is Maxbounty is dedicated not only to it’s affiliates but dedicated to the advertisers that are in their network and they want to be sure they keep out bad affiliates.

So unlike other affiliate networks where you do put in an application that meets minimal requirements like and active website to be approved. With Maxbounty you’re going to be interviewed before being accepted into their network.

When filling out your application, the best thing you can do is to be completely honest with your answers. If you’re new to CPA tell them so.

Next tell them how you’re going to promote their offers. Are you going to use Facebook, Bing, AdWords?

Are you going to use search or email? Be detailed in how you are going to promote their campaigns. So if you’re an email marketer, tell them you have a landing page that you use to capture emails and then market to that list.

And tell them how many people you have your list and how many new emails you capture each week or month. The more information you provide the better.

Now tell them what verticals (campaigns) you’re interested in promoting. Is it weight loss, finance, gaming, etc.

Provide your website address. If you don’t have a website don’t bother applying – you’re just wasting your time. You need a website, or how else are you going to promote any offers.

Next you’ll be asked if this account is for incentive Traffic, check NO

Once you’ve finished your application you’ll receive an email asking you to verify you email address.

Once you do that you’re going to get another email from them and this time it’s going to include you affiliate ID, along with your affiliate managers name and phone number. Call them right away!

When you do simply say: “Hi my name is Leo I just applied on Maxbounty a few minutes ago my ID is XXX could you please check on my application”.

This is where they are going to ask you some of the same questions that were on the application, again just be truthful. So they will ask you things like:

• How long have you been an affiliate marketer?
• What other networks do you work with? Examples, ClickBank, JVzoo, Commission Junction
• What offers do you like to promote?
• How do plan on promoting offers? (email, PPC, search)
• Why did you choose Maxbounty?

Simply talk to them, don’t be nervous and know your answers. If you need to have a cheat sheet with your answers in front of you, do it. Once you’re approved you’ll get an email from your affiliate manager welcoming you to Maxbounty.

One thing that’s really cool with Maxbounty as a new affiliate to their network you have the chance to receive a $1000 performance based bonus. In fact they are the only performance based network to offer this. If you earn a $1000 per month for the first 3 months, Maxbounty will give you $1000 on your 4th month.

Even if you made nothing in the first 2 months but then made $3000 in the 3rd month you would still get the $1000 bonus on the 4th month.

So How Much Can You Earn With Maxbounty?

Well like any affiliate network/program it really depends on you, you’re niche and the campaign itself. Maxbounty has campaigns that pay a $1 per lead where other campaigns can pay $440 per lead. Like I said it depends on your area of interest.

Maxbounty does payout each week which is great because if your campaigns are building, ramping up that traffic does cost money and having the cash flow makes things so much easier.

Maxbounty provides different methods of payment which you set up in your account setting and there is a minimum of a $100 threshold before you can get paid:

• PayPal
• Paper Check
• Wire Transfer
• Bitcoin
• Intercash (Prepaid Credit Card)

Earn More Money

Maxbounty also has a referral program where any affiliates you refer to them and who gets accepted into their network you’ll earn 5% of their revenue for a full 12 months.

This can turn into a lot of money for you. And it’s free money to boat. Maybe you know someone who’s an email marketer with a huge mailing list? Imagine the revenue you could earn just by having them as a referral?

Maxbounty Rewards Program

Campaigns

Maxbounty makes it easy to find, access and review the campaigns that are available within their network. From the tabs in the menu you can find:

• New campaigns
• Top campaigns
• Trending campaigns
• Max Bounty picks

You can also bookmark campaigns and the system will even show you campaigns you’ve recently visited.

If you have a campaign in mind the you can also use the search campaign tool which you’ll find the link to in the sidebar.

You’ll also find links in the sidebar to your reports, news, additional resources and a very detailed FAQ section. And if you need a hand with anything just contact your affiliate manager.

My Final Thoughts

Personally I just love, love Maxbounty. There is so much going on in this network and all of it is designed to make sure you succeed.

And unlike other affiliate networks Maxbounty goes out of their way to help you as an affiliate. I belong to other affiliate networks and I can tell you the affiliate support is no where near their support.
