What is Clicksure? It’s An Affiliate Network To Avoid That’s What
Price: Free (paid VIP program)
Owner: Online Affiliate Group LLC
Ranking: 3 out of 10
Affiliate marketing is by far one of the easiest ways for people to make money online, especially for beginners.
There are quite a few things that go into affiliate marketing but one of the most important parts is finding a product to promote in the first place. This is where places like Clicksure come into the picture.
So What Is Clicksure?
Clicksure is an online marketplace that serves as the middle man between online vendors and affiliate marketers as well as a place for advertisers to have their products.
Today I will be focusing on the site from the point of view of an affiliate marketer looking for products.
Here’s a fun fact:
The Clicksure site appeared a week after a similar place, Clickbank, updated its policies in an attempt to remove junk products from its site.
Well guess what? All the vendors who had shitty products were removed and they needed a new place to go.
And guess where they ended up?
Who Is Clicksure For?
The site is for anyone looking for products to promote through a website, youtube, social media, or any other online marketing platform.
How Does Clicksure Work?
Digital marketplaces like this make it easy for affiliate marketers to browse a variety of items to promote without having to jump around from site to site trying to find something within a specific niche.
These are also known as Affiliate Networks – one stop shopping for affiliates on the search for products to promote.
Like all networks it’s pretty simple to get started.
You sign up, verify your information, and then can go through the dashboard to search for products. For each item you can see important stats such as the cost of the item, how much your commission will be, the refund rate, etc.
After choosing a product, a special link will be issued (just like any other affiliate program) and you’ll use this to advertise.
The program will also track stats and pay any commissions you’ve earned.
What’s The Price?
It is free to join Clicksure as an affiliate though every person who registers is given the option to join the VIP program right off the bat.
Are There Any Upsells?
The VIP program is a $10 monthly subscription plan which gives affiliates access to some extra tools in order to help them be more successful.
VIP members have access to some training material (small e-books ranging from two – thirty pages).
There are also two support options. One is expedited support tickets which will put your problems ahead of anyone that is not a VIP and the other is skype support.
It’s important to note, that it seems like these options are really only served as support and in no way are supposed to supplement the ebook material or help you with your promoting.
If you’re looking for an affiliate training program that will help you with any of your promotions here’s the best resource for that.
While it might be worth paying for the first month for the informational downloads, the actual service doesn’t really have much value past that point.
If someone puts in enough support tickets a month to justify paying for quick responses, then I would seriously wonder why you were still doing business with them – obviously there are still kinks to work out.
What Training And Tools Can You Expect?
There is no actual training from within the network except to teach you the basics of their dashboard and marketplace, unless you pay for the VIP program for the short ebooks on different marketing techniques.
You will need to go elsewhere for quality affiliate training.
How’s The Support?
The helpfulness of support is wholly dependent on why you are contacting them. If you trying out products to see whether or not they are worth promoting, then the support seems to be pretty good…only because they seem to solidly stand behind their refund policy.
Any other complaints such as those dealing with vendors or products are normally wholly ignored as the company does not seem all that concerned with weeding out spammy products. This is justified by their refund policy.
The only time they will listen to a complaint is if a seller is contradicting the refund policy as stated here –
“If you find a product that is being sold through ClickSure with any guarantees or warranties that conflicts with our Consumer Promise, please report it to us so that we may take corrective action.”
What I Liked
While there are some things I do not like about this company, they do have one major redeeming quality which makes me not want to throw them off the board completely and that is the refund policy.
Even though they don’t seem to care about the quality of the products, they are trying to compensate for this by issuing timely and hassle free refunds.
What I Didn’t Like
Low Quality Products:
This is by far the biggest complaint many marketers have with Clicksure. Not only do customers start to lose faith in what you’re promoting when you keep asking them to buy crap, but you also get a high refund rate.
You don’t get to keep your commissions if a buyer asks for a refund. That means you might get very excited about money you have made only to see it vanish over the next few days or months (60 day refund policy).
This goes along with the poor quality. Places like Clickbank have implemented rules that try to minimize the number of bad products on their site.
So high refund rates or complaints can get a seller banned and removed from the marketplace….well many of the removed sellers go to Clicksure!
The dl content makes sense, even Clickbank now has their own university to help teach people how to make more money promoting products.
The idea that there is a “fast track” support program kind of has me worried…it kind of makes it sound like they expect people to put in a lot of tickets.
My Final Opinion
Compared to other affiliate networks, this one just doesn’t make the cut when it comes to quality and income opportunity.
The high refund rates and product complaints can not only lead to you losing commissions but if you continuously promote bad products, your audience will eventually stop buying anything that you happen to be promoting (even when you finally get to a good product).
So even though it is possible to make money through Clicksure.
The high number of deceptive, spammy, and trash products can make it very difficult for people to find something worth promoting especially for beginners. Most would be better off spending their time elsewhere.
And the best place you can spend your time building a thriving online business away from all these crappy scammy products is my #1 recommend resource.
I hope you found this review helpful and I hope I answered any questions you may have had about it.
So do you have a personal experience that you would like to share about Clicksure?
If you do, I would love to hear about it. Your feedback is always welcome and it can help others make a decision whether or not to use clicksure as a resource for quality products.
And if you did find his review helpful and enjoyed it please feel free to share it with your audience.
I Believe In You!
