One More Sales Pitch And I’ll Scream

This is a bit of a rant but hey I have to let it out or I’ll explode.

I just got another email message from a newsletter I subscribed to and it’s another sales pitch.

You see when I join someones email list or newsletter that promises me information that’s what I expect… Information!! But more often then not all I get is sales pitch after sales pitch.

It’s the latest way of making money fast or the latest 3 button never have to do anything promise and let’s not forget about the 16 year old who never did anything online before and now is making $50,000 a month.

SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!

So much noise, so much BS.

The fastest way for me and most people to unsubscribe from any list is to be pitched to day in and day out.

Here is the formula to a successful Ezine or newsletter.

Give, Give, Give and then Give some more

If you tell people that you ezine/newsletter is there to provide tips and resources for XYZ that that’s what it should be doing.

Do not treat your list like an ATM, you need to treat the people on your list with respect and caring. Provide what you say you’re going to provide and the money will come.

It will never come if all you do is pitch the latest thing or shiny object.

Just remember this:

Give, Give, Give and then Give some more
