Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0 Review – My Story

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0 Review

I’m very excited to share my Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0 Review with you.

And you know why?

Because I’ve bought this training and I am going through this training LIVE.

Typically when I do a review I buy the product or service and give my feedback. And I can do that because the entire product or service is available to use.

However, since Jason just launched his updated version of product eClass on May 8th, 2023, hence the 5.0 part.

I’m doing this review as I’m going through the course. So I will be adding to this review weekly until I have completed the course.

UPDATE: I have completed all the training

Now I’m an affiliate marketer and this is how I’ve been making an online living since 2005. But when it comes to affiliate marketing there is a vulnerability that no one really talks about.

Even though you own and control 100% of your business you have NO control of the affiliate partnerships you have with companies.

Meaning a company could terminate its affiliate program. Or an affiliate company can change the terms of the agreement, typically this is the percentage they pay their affiliates.

Talk to any Amazon associate and they can tell you how that can destroy your business and your income.

Here is the latest commission rate change from Amazon. Source Getlasso.co

amazon affiliate commission rates

Now, the advantage of being the product creator and owner is that you are 100% in control of your business.

With that said, despite the vulnerability, of any changes a company may do to its affiliate program I will always be an affiliate marketer first.

I’ve never really been affected by any affiliate company changes, and that’s because as an affiliate you can pivot so quickly to another affiliate program if you need to.

I’m an affiliate marketer for life. However, when I came across Jason’s training I knew I could not pass up the opportunity to be taught by one of the best when it came to marketing your own info products.

And even though I am not at the point in my online career of having my own info products. When I am ready, I now have the exact blueprints to do so.

I have to say I am very excited about what I am about to embark on.

Heads up. This training is NOT for everyone.
I’ll explain why after we go through the training.

Here’s The #1 Resources For Building A Thriving Affiliate Marketing Business

Alright let me give some background of who Jason is, and then let me break down this course, the price, the bonuses, and so on.

Ok, Who Is Jason

We need to go back to Nov 12th, 2007 when Jason sold his first info product for $4.00 earning him after fees $3.58. This is the product that launched a MASSIVE career.

And it was an ebook 7 pages long and less than 1000 words, with a typo in the first paragraph and it was titled – How To Write An Article In 7 Minutes Or Less Including Proof, Reading And Research.

And as Jason said in our first session together that this sale is the win, that allowed all other wins to occur.

And that small start has led him to set a record for affiliate sales earning over 9 Million dollars in 8 days. This record has stood for 8 years and counting, no one has ever come close to this.

And then there is the record-setting internet launch where he earned 57 Million in 6 months from that launch, DAME!!!

Rapid crush earnings from a webinar launch

But he makes it very clear before all those big wins, it all started with that $4 sale of his first info product.

Jason is also considered the absolute best when it comes to webinars. Through their webinar sales methodology, it has generated hundreds of millions of dollars for his company Rapid Crush that he co-founded with Wilson Mattos.

No wonder Zoom hired Jason to teach their user base how to create high-converting webinars.

So there is no denying Jason knows his stuff and is more than qualified to teach people how to succeed in selling their own information products.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass – The Course

Ok, so what is product eClass? Well, in a nutshell, you’re going to learn how to sell informational products using the same method that Jason used to build a 9-Figure Information Business.

This course is broken up into 7 sessions. And since this is the latest updated version of product eClass these sessions are being done live with Jason. Of course, once this training is over anyone who wants to take the course can but it will be the recorded version.

Ok, so what if it’s recorded? it’s the same training.

Yes, it’s the same training but the “so what part” is after each session Jason answers questions. You won’t be able to do that when the recorded version is available.

So there is definitely an advantage if you got in on this training when Jason is doing things live.

You will however have a recording of each session, a recording of the Q&A. You can also download the transcript, audio file, and slides from the webinar.

product eclass 5.0 session one downloads

Ok, Let’s Look At Each Training Session

Here are the sessions in Jason’s course:

  • 5 Figure Info Products
  • The 3rd Part Profit Model
  • Backend Profits
  • Traffic Deep Dive
  • High Ticket Products
  • The Webinar Method
  • Bigger Traffic Bigger Profits

Each one of these sessions can be their own stand-alone product. The reality is with Product eClass 5.0 you’re getting 7 separate courses, Yeah baby!!

Product eClass 5.0: Session #1 – 5 Figure Info Products

5 figure info products

This first session was over 2 hours long, and dame did I learn a lot just from this one session.

But like Jason said:

You will be overwhelmed. This will be a lot to you at first. This will even intimidate you most likely. And guess what? Congratulations. That makes you a human being.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

And he wasn’t kidding, while I did learn a lot I was overwhelmed and I was intimidated. In fact, I said to myself several times ” Shit can I do this?”.

A natural response when you are being taught by someone who is at such a high level, of course, you’re going to have doubts.

There will be an orchestrated amount of confusion given to you to allow you to create the aha moments that will allow you to be successful.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

As the session went on I did have my aha moments. And as this one session continued I got more and more excited.

Now of course I’m not going to reveal the details of his training. If you want those you’re going to have to purchase his course when it becomes available.

However, I will give you a 30,000-foot view of this session. Now Jason use to sell this session as a stand-alone course and people paid BIG bucks for it. This session is the most powerful one and after going through it, that’s definitely the case.

Ok, for the creation of your info product, you’re going to find a specific problem and locate a specific solution for that problem which can solve the problem in a very short time frame, and then assemble everything in one sitting.

And that one sitting we’re talking hours. Not days, weeks, months, or in some cases years. But in one sitting you’ll create your info product. And this will be an eBook.

That’s the creative part. So, why will these types of info products succeed?

They succeed because, with your info product, people can do something incredible in a very tight timeframe without normal constraints.

Here are examples of some of Jason’s info products using this formula:

  • How to Write a Near World-Class Sales Letter in Three Hours or Less
  • How to Create an Info Product in 48 Hours or Less From Scratch on the Topic You Know Nothing About
  • How to Set Up a Fully Functional Membership Site in 6 Minutes or Less with Free Software

Do you see the pattern?

How to do something very narrow in a certain very specific period of time with an additional benefit or without a normal constraint.

This works so well because it focuses on instant gratification.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Now the training goes on to show you how to do what’s called a Low Ticket Product Offer. And it’s a score from 1 to 4 with 1 being poor and 4 being excellent.

Using the following criteria:

  • Immediate Relief
  • Saving or Making Money
  • Pain to Keep Problem

We then got into demographic overlays which you can apply to your product. Jason showed us 14 different demographic overlays such as:

  • Age
  • Race
  • Gender
  • Family size
  • Sexual Orientation

We were then shown some additional killer product templates like the main formula content template:

How to {achieve some amazing result} in {some specific time frame} without {common obsitacle}

We then went on to learn where to find ideas. And how products can and should evolve over time. Jason showed us several examples of how products can evolve.

For example, Product eClass came as a result of 48 Hour Report, which was how to create an info product in 48 hours or less, and that was originally sold as a $17 ebook. Later, the price increased to $499.00 – which is Product eClass 5.0.

We then went on to learn how to outline our info product. Your product is either going to be done by ‘Factors’ teaching or Step-By-Step teaching.

A Factor outline consists of:

  • Why is it important
  • What’s involved
  • How to do it
  • What can happen

A Step-by-step outline, well that’s self-explanatory.

We then covered the outline for our eBook and the template of a good sales letter. We also touched on getting traffic. But this will be covered in much more detail in sessions 4 and 7.

Now this was just a high-level overview of this session. Of course, there is so much more to it. And so much more to come. I’m so friken excited.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #2 – The 3rd Party Profit Model

rapid crush 3rd party business model

Alright, I just finished with session #2 of Jason’s Product eClass training. This session went for 1 hour 45 minutes, not including the Q&A afterward.

I have to say I could listen (learn) from Jason all day long. What he knows and how he looks at things is so outside of the box in many ways and simply common sense in other ways. Just amazing.

So let me give you the 30,000-foot view of this training which is all about the 3rd party business model.

I beleive this is the eaest way to six figuers with info products

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

So with this business model for selling info products, you’re finding an expert to interview and then creating an info product from that.

Here are the steps:

  • Come up with a topic
  • Find an Expert
  • Conduct the interview
  • Turn the interview into a product
  • Create a sales letter
  • Market the product

Pretty straightforward, and of course, with each step there is a process which Jason covers in great detail in this session.

This sounds great, but why would anyone buy an interview when there is soooo much free information available online?

Good question.

People will buy stuff even if there is an equivalent version somewhere out there for the following reason:

  • Convenience – you go to them instead of them trying to find you – you’re saving them time. Time is greater than money.
  • Communication – By selling the outcome, you’re more likely to get engagement, which increases success. Your product is focused on the outcome, not the education.
  • Structure – Jason is going to train us in a way that facilitates results, As he says while everyone else is in the information business we’ll be in the Transformation business.

I want to mention this again. This session and as with all other sessions can be stand-alone products. So here we are learning how to use the 3rd party business model.

So during this session, Jason does refer back to session 1, which is the base for everything that is being taught in this and upcoming sessions.

Most of information is irrelevant – it’s really about 10% about the information and 90% of how you feel about the information. Our whole design is to create a situation where someone feels confident moving forward with the information. That’s more important than the information itself.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

So we’re learning the framework of how to take information where it is presented and given away for free but just doesn’t get most people there as much as it could.

And repackaging it where it does facilitate more transformative behaviors and people are happy to pay for that.

Ok, that’s session 2. Really looking forward to the next session which is going to cover backed profits.

Oh, and since session 2 has been done we got access to our first bonus which is 101 Killer Product Topics.

In the member’s area, there is a video from Jason sharing a simple exercise where you can tweak, or as he says put a “twist” on these proven sellers to create your own, 100% unique product ideas.

101 killer product ideas product eclass 5.0

As well as a downloadable PDF. Now this is not just a list of product ideas, this is a guide of specific examples.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #3 – Backend Profits

rapid crush backend profits

This session started off with Jason talking about how he was taught by Jay Abraham that there are 3 ways to grow a business.

  • Get more customers
  • Increase the purchase size
  • Increase purchase frequency

Now, most people focus on building their businesses by getting more customers.

And it’s usually the least effective way to grow a business.

The key insight here is:

Getting new customers is the hardest, least profitable but easiest to conceptualize. Increasing purchase size and frequency are the easiest but the hardest to conceptualize.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Jason went on to talk about what is called Processing Fluency.

Processing Fluency is a cognitive bias in which our liking of something is directly linked to how easily our brains find it to think about, mentally process and understand it. We tend to prefer things that are simple to understand.

And because of this bias, people tend to focus on getting new customers because it’s the easiest to understand.

So why I am mentioning this?

Because in this session we have been taught about how selling to people that have already bought from you is the way to grow your business.

Think about it, if someone has bought a lower-priced product from you and they were satisfied with what you sold them. Meaning they got a result from you.

It’s going to be so much easier to sell them something else at a higher price because they will give you the benefit of the doubt that they can get another result from you even if the price is higher.

Two-thirds of the ways of growing your business involves the backend.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

But when you’re first starting out your focus should be 80% is focused on getting new customers and 20% is focused on existing customers.

And once you get new customers Jason says you should flip your focus as soon as possible.

So 20% is now focused on getting new customers and 80% is focused on existing customers.

So how are we selling to these existing customers?

We are doing it through email marketing. With an email list existing customers are:

  • The easiest to reach (they’ve been added to your list)
  • Receptive to your emails (they don’t want to miss product updates)
  • Easiest to serve further (you know what they want)
  • Easiest to refer (you can get new customers through existing customers)

The BIG concept that Jason is talking about in this session is:

Digging your well before you are thristy

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Jason tells us that he knows a lot of what he going to teach us in this session is not going to be applicable for most of us right now in our journey and our business.

But his hope is we will see what’s beyond the horizon and know what to work towards sooner and not later, as well as not overlook the opportunity.

So he begins this teaching by covering the four factors for backend success.

  • Email marketing
  • Strategic leverage
  • Event-based marketing
  • Premium pricing

And then the rest of the session is him going into detail regarding these four factors.

This session was just under 2 hours not including the Q&A afterwards. Once again I learned a lot.

And I’ve said this already it’s such a joy to be in the presence of someone who is at such a high level when it comes to this.

Now I don’t know when Jason is going to make product eClass 5.0 available to everyone. But when he does people will get the recorded version of the course. Nothing wrong with that at all.

But compared to a recorded version it’s completely different being there live and having the ability to ask questions after the session as I have done along with the other members and get the answers right from Jason.

Ok, next week is the session I am really looking forward to, and I bet I’m not the only one. The next session is all about traffic. And because of the holiday in the U.S. (memorial day), this session is on Tuesday.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #4 – Traffic Deep Dive

rapid crush traffic deep dive

Jason is going to share how to get high-quality traffic in droves. In fact, this is the most effective way to get people to your offers.

And here it is:

If you make deals with people who have the traffic you want, then you don’t need to generate the traffic

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

So how do we approach this type of traffic generation?

In the training, Jason starts with an overview of the 3 steps for this type of traffic generation. And they are.

1 – Who has a high-quality lead source that you want to reach?

2 – How do you create a near-risk-free opportunity to engage with the leader of that lead source?

3 – How do you use, shape and create an approach to test it out? Jason calls this step a “Primary Secondary Benefit” approach.

Approaching A Lead source

Jason talks about how many people approach lead sources and basically say “Hey, listen, this can make you a whole bunch of money.” And the “this” is your product.

However, Jason says, just saying to a lead source that you can make a lot of money is usually not good enough on its own.

Remember Jason mentioned the “Primary Secondary Benefit” approach? The secondary approach is the money aspect.

The primary approach, the one you lead with is it solves this problem that even if you don’t make them more money, they’re happy because a problem got solved in and of itself.

So a problem is getting solved and it’s fantastic for that person even if the money part does not work.

So the money would be great, but at least my life is better now that you’ve come into it. That’s the attitude that we have to have.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

However, before you can entertain the idea of approaching a lead source you have to Gain Trust.

Gaining trust is the biggest challenge with this traffic generation approach. So how can you gain trust?

You start small with the option to go bigger.

You approach your led source and provide Value In Advance. Here’s the example he gave in the training that shows value in advance.

“Hey, I think a bonus training on blank would go great with what you sell. If you’re open to it, I’ll develop it for free and give you co-writing credits. Only if that is well received, then all I ask is for you to entertain an idea on a collaboration where I do all the work and you make half the money.”

Now you may be thinking, “Wait I’m going to do all of this and not have the opportunity to make money”. Yep, that’s what you’re going to do.

Remember you’re a product creator you’re creating products anyway. Sure you are hoping this person can use it.

But if they don’t that’s ok because you now have a product that you can still use. Plus you can very easily massage it, tweak it, change it, and approach a completely new audience.

Jason then shared his favorite pitch that he uses to try to do deals. Yeah, sorry I can’t share that. You would have to buy the course.

He then talked about how we can do the least amount of work and get the most amount of impact. And you can do that by shortcutting trust.

  • Who are you already a customer of?
  • Who are you already a fan of?
  • Who is already a hero who you think is a best-kept secret?
  • Who has influence who already knows you?

We then covered how to set expectations and how to calibrate your deals.

So in the next part of the training, we covered in great detail.

  • Determining your income goal
  • Identify your targets
  • Creating an offer
  • Contact your targets
  • Purpose your deal structure
  • Implementation
  • Leverage and expanding

Let me give you a brief look at each one of these.

Determining Your Income Goal

Your income goal is going to depend on the price point, units sold, and profit share.

So for example let’s say you want to make $5000. If the price point is $100 and the profit share is 50%. You need to sell 100 units in order to make $5000.

Identify Your Targets

Who you approach will more than any other factor determine your success.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

When it comes to creating deals you could have the perfect offer, opportunity, and the perfect approach and still not get the deal. And as Jason says, “This is the most likely outcome”.

You will hear “No” many times, but you need to remember there are a lot of people out there and you will find someone that says yes. And then all those no’s mean nothing.

Jason also goes into detail as to what traits to look for in deal makers.

Create An Offer

The best opportunity for making deals comes from serving undervalued or neglected assets.

  • Customer lists
  • Order bumps
  • Retargeting
  • Etc…

Contact Your Targets

When it comes to targets you have 3 types.

  • Hot
  • Warm
  • Cold

Purpose Your Deal Structure

There are several ways you can structure your deal. Here are some of the common deal structures.

  • Straight Royalties Deal. You get paid nothing upfront, you just get a percentage of the revenue generated.
  • Royalties With An Advance. You get paid X number upfront and then you’re paid no more until the royalties reach that number, and then your start getting paid royalties after that number has been reached.
  • Trade. No money gets exchanged, but something else in lieu of money gets exchanged. For example, you share the leads.
  • Capped Royalties. Once a certain number is reached, you don’t get paid royalties anymore.
  • Performance Milestones. As an example you’ll make a smaller percentage on the first $10,000, then a larger percentage on the next, and then after that in perpetuity.
  • Flat Fee. For example, once you make X number in sales, then you pay me Y number of dollars.

Royalties are the easiest to make, but it’s the worst deal to make. So that’s okay at first. We don’t want to end there, but we can start there.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

The main focus of this step is to help you bypass the issues that can prevent success. So every deal you make 100% of it is on you.

So you need to be proactive when it comes to problem-solving. You don’t allow a setback to stop the thing from happening.

Maybe there was a mailing issue, merchant account issues, hosting account issues, or support blows up. Any and all of these things can happen. So be prepared.

Here’s what could go wrong and here’s how you can handle things when/if they go wrong.

Leverage And Expand

Once you’ve completed a successful deal you now have one of the hottest prospects ever. Now’s the time to be strategic about things.

In the training, Jason explains in detail the 3 ways you can expand a deal.

  • Do more deals with the same company
  • Referrals and introductions
  • Promote your results

Bottom line is someone has the perfect audience for you to get in front of.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

And there you go my overview of the traffic deep dive. Of course, this was a huge learning experience. Today’s training was about 1 hour 45 minutes with a 45-minute Q&A session afterward.

And like the other sessions, there is a video replay, the audio file, show slides, and a transcript.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #5 – High Ticket Products

rapid crush high ticket products

No matter what niche you’re in 20% of the customers in that niche spend 80% of the money. And while there are people that won’t spend a few dollars on an info product.

There are plenty of people that won’t bat an eye at spending, $2000, $3000, even $10,000 or more. And in this training, we’re going to learn how to lock in on that 1 in 10 customers that will pay 50x more for a product.

This session was 2 1/2 hours long including about 45 minutes of live Q&A after the training session.

Many marketers myself included have a misconception of price when it comes to a product.

When it comes to the price of a product the reality is that for 90% of people price is not the factor for making a purchase.

And Jason’s assertion is that for around 50% of people that are in your market, the price is way down on their list, like 6th or 7th or even further down their lists of reasons they would or wouldn’t buy from you.

I put it so far down on the list that I don’t even consider it when I’m creating something. There are going to be 17 other things that are more important for this prospect to determine if they should by this product or not then price.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

But, and this is where everyone gets twisted. Price is the easiest excuse a customer can give for not buying and therefore sellers think it’s the most important thing.

However, the reality is the #1 reason, people won’t buy from you is Fear.

Your goal should not be focused on how low can I make the price.

Your goal should be How Can I Better Show Value? The more value you can show the easier it is to charge more.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

The more you charge the more you can.

  • Serve your customer
  • Invest in a superior solution
  • Advertise so people can find your product
  • The more people pay the more they pay attention (better results)

Around this time Jason shared a specific case study. This was very cool. He and his partner used to find cheap software – in this case, the software sold for $7.

They would acquire the rights for cheap because the product was cheap. For this, they paid $2500 for the rights.

The first thing they would do is remove as many features as possible and leave the software with 1 to 3 features that their customers wanted.

They would then optimize the hell out of those features and then lastly they would create a beautiful and easy-to-use interface that at a glance anyone could use.

And to market it they would use a long-form educational webinar and sell this piece of software that cost $7 and had more features. For $200 to $500 and make a ton of money.

Now Jason and his company started out as a software company so this was easy for them to do. But you have to admit that was (is) very smart marketing.

Here are the 4 core critical factors of high pricing:

  • Specificity
  • Experience
  • Status
  • Time

Jason then went into detail about each one of these factors. And then he shared the two strategic concepts that can make you a fortune.

And once you understand these two things it can revolutionize your business. Sorry, I can’t share those concepts in this review.

Often raising your price can increase your conversion rate

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Now up till now in the training Jason was sharing the strategies regarding price, he then switched over to the tactical side of things.

And this tactical training covered.

  • Scarcity
  • Follow-up
  • Positioning
  • Risk reversal

Now you will get objections at higher prices. Now Jason said you won’t get more objections. But your audience is less forgiving if you don’t properly deal with those objections. In other words, you have less margin for error.

Jason then went on to teach us a basic formula to best handle any objection. Now this works for any objection, money, time, etc.

1) Acknowledge and Soften

2) Validate and Reframe

3) Present a Target

We are now close to the end of this training but Jason had a few other things he wanted to share.

High Ticket Tactics

The easiest way to sell thing ticket products is to offer different modalities. So how often can one information product be switched to different modalities?

  • PDF
  • Video
  • Coaching
  • Software
  • Case studies
  • Webinars
  • Etc…

The other high-ticket tactic is Supply and Demand.

The less you have of something the more demand there will be for it.

If you’re just starting out Jason says this is how you want to start.

There’s one of me, there’s many of you. So I’m going to be very choosy of whom I first serve and help

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Another big thing he talked about is testimonials. When it comes to lower-priced products you can have less or even none. But for high-ticket products, it helps to show your work and proves what you do has impact.

He then wrapped up the training with his KIller Offer Check List.

  • Core offer
  • Price
  • Bonus Scarcity
  • Risk

Of course, each heading had a list of things related to it. As he said these are the puzzle pieces when constructing a high ticket offer.

Even if you use this on low ticket or mid ticket offers you will be mor effective, sell moer, and make more money

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

And that’s an overview of the session 5 training. We are getting close to the end with only 2 other sessions to go. I’m really looking forward to each of those.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #6 – The Webinar Method

Rapid crush the webinar method

This session starts off with Jason telling us the way he got successful in webinars
was by following the exact same method he taught us in module one. Five Figure Info Products.

And also using module two, The Third-Party Profit Model. And then Module three, The Backend. This is how you shift a backend into a frontend with webinars. And then using Module four, Traffic Deep Dive using the best way he knows how to get traffic.

Now with what we learned in module one using a low ticket funnel. And this is where you provide a solution for one specific problem in a specific way allowing the customer to gain an immediate benefit from the first time they use it.

This is a great model and now you have a customer and you can do all the backend marketing to your customers.

With the Webinar Method.

You start a customer relationship at a higher price point so you can make big money upfront and still continue to market to the customer on the backend

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

My hack, my favorite approach, is to turn a low-priced offer into a webinar

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

Jason then talked about the audiences that are perfect for webinars.

  • Your own
  • Someone else’s (as an affiliate) You make a deal with someone who has the audience
  • Paid traffic (Facebook)

Now Jason does make a point of saying you can’t start with paid traffic. You only want to use paid traffic once you’ve proven it out with other methods first.

Jason then went into detail about doing paid traffic on Facebook and showing us the complete breakdown of each step of the funnel including the email sequence to get people on the webinar.

The funnel looks like this:

  • Registration page
  • Thank you page – (Congratulations you’re in!)
  • Sign-up page – Once your webinar is live this is the call to action you present to people to buy your product/course
  • Replay

When it comes to the replay Jason says to do the following:

  • Make it expire
  • Use a catchy thumbnail
  • Edit the video to start strong
  • Delay the add-to-cart button
  • And be sure it looks good on mobile

And then he covered what a full 7-day email promotion would look like. And then he when into the best email practices. Which covered keeping them fresh and how to use different modalities in your emails such as pain, curiosity, benefit, etc.

He also covered the emails he sends when it comes to the replays. Specifically how much he talks about the content and the offer within each email.

And how that percentage of talking about the content and talking about the offer changes with each email.

So all this training up to this point takes care of how to market the webinar, the pages involved, the funnel, and the content that happens before and after the webinar.

Now at this point in the training, the rest of the training covers The Presentation.

Which he covers in detail:

  • The Introduction
  • The Content
  • The Transition
  • The Close

Now Jason tells us this is not the presentation map that he teaches in general, such as in his course Genius Webinars.

This is a modified version that is more specific to those of us who have taken Product eClass 5.0. Because you have advantages that the general public doesn’t have, and you have frameworks that you can utilize based on being a Product eClass member

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

I’m not going to go into depth regarding each part of this training. But here’s a high-level view of the training within each of these steps of a webinar.

The Introduction

  • Link to benefit
  • Link to pain
  • On this webinar (promise)
  • Qualifications (you)
  • Committed (attendees)

And there you go, that’s the Webinar Method. And just like the other session man did I learn a lot. Really looking forward to the last session regarding traffic.

This session ran for 2 and 1/2 hours and that’s including the live Q&A after the session. The session itself was about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Product eClass 5.0: Session #7 – Bigger Traffic Bigger Profits

rapid crush bigger traffic bigger profits

Time to turn on the traffic faucet. In this session, Jason covers how to really succeed with paid traffic at scale.

To make paid ads work, the three most important elements are audience, offer and message.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

The more desperate, underserved but willing to spend money on the solution the better.

As Jason said, think of people dying of thirst in the desert. Even if you’re water is not that good, and even if your sales pitch to buy your water is not that good. You’ll still win.

When it comes to paid traffic the thing that’s going to make your paid ads work more than anything is your Audience.

A killer offer is so good it’s more expensive NOT to buy it. You have an offer that is irresistible that nobody can match.

And with such an offer it can be sold to audiences that normally don’t buy.

Your message must get attention and be believable for people to act on.

When I’m designing offers, how do I make this thing feel like it costs more to say no to it than it does to say yes to it? And then the message is, what can I get attention for? And then how can I use that attention to translate it into action?

At this point in the training, Jason talked about the two ways to make paid advertising at scale work.

The first way is Straight To Purchase. This is where the prospect goes from the ad to a sales pitch.

The beauty of this is that there is more clarity. Because you’ll know immediately how much it’s going to cost you to get a customer.

And at this point, Jason shared how Frank Kern used this approach in a slightly modified way. He used to give away his ebook about how to get coaching clients for free in exchange for shipping.

And then Jason walked us through how this worked, through order bumps and upsells.

The Second Model

The second model is you give something away for free first and then through follow-up.

The follow-up is the thank you page the prospect is sent to after they optin for the free thing, and then you attempt to sell them something.

Jason then shared what he called The Dirty Little Secret of paid advertising at scale.

Now when I say “at scale” we’re talking about people spending $30,000, $50,000, $100,000, or more per month on paid ads.

And the dirt little secret is that there are four principles involved.

  • The creator
  • The ad buyer – typically a 3rd party team
  • Phone room – closers for high-ticket products
  • Creditor – financing for high ticket offers ($30,000 to $70,000 or more)

This model works but as Jason said:

You don’t jump from the bottom of the mountain and you go straight to the top.

Jason Fladlien Product eClass 5.0

In other words, you start small and build yourself up from there.

He then talked about how to find all these different ad campaigns that are running
that you can use for inspiration.

This way you see the hooks, the angles, and poke around the funnels. Some you will be able to see for free. While others you’ll have to spend money in order to get into the funnel to see all the parts.

While this will provide you with information you can’t just model a campaign even if you have all the parts.

And the reason is you don’t have any of the data that the person who is running the funnel has. Because you have no idea what they have or haven’t tested.

We then were shown an alternative paid strategy. Which was very cool.

He talked about when you’re starting out how speed is more important than anything. Get your stuff out there. And don’t major in minor things.

Jason showed us how Frank Kern had typos and mistakes in his copy, but that made no difference. He’s getting stuff out there. And he’s focusing on what really matters. And what really matters is a really killer offer.

We then moved on and Jason shared with us free gift success. As he said, “It’s the free thing that creates demand for the paid thing”.

This is where he covered complicated free things to give, boring free things to give away, and Optimal free things to give away. Of course, you want to use Optimal.

For free gift success.

  • Immediate high perceived value
  • Ease of creation
  • Ease of consumption
  • Commercial potential

We then covered Best Practices, Targeting the Right Audience. Type of campaign to run. Wide or granular.

And then talked about using overlapping desires. Which is a certain desire and a very specific geographic location.

Now the paid platform he referred to during this training was Facebook.

But at the end of the training, Jason talked about other paid ad considerations.

  • Pintrest
  • Bing/Yahoo
  • YouTube community shoutouts
  • Newsletter drops
  • Sponsorships
  • Paid organic (the YouTube community is an example of a paid organic)

And there we have it the end of the Product eClass 5.0 sessions. DAME was this exciting and so informative.

As Jason said each one of these sessions can stand on there own. I can use one or a combination of all of them. So the reality is I now own 7 separate models for selling my own product(s).

So, How Much Did I Pay For Product eClass 5.0?

The cost of Product eClass 5.0 was $499.00. Now I do want to mention that I got in on this course at this special price.

So, I’m not sure if Jason is going to keep product eClass 5.0 at this price when he decides to make product eClass available to everyone.

For this special Jason gave you the option to make a one-time payment of $499.00 or if paying that amount all at once did not fit your budget.

You could pay for the course over 3 months with 3 equal payments of $194.00.

If you opted for the 3 payment option you will pay a total of $582.00 which is $83 more. But even with the extra cost, the course is still a steal of a deal.

Now these were the special bonuses that came with the course at the time I purchased it.

And this was a limited-time offer so I can’t say for sure that these bonuses will be the same when Jason releases 5.0 to everyone.

This Is Not For Everyone

What You Need To Consider

Despite the excellent quality of this training, it’s NOT for everyone. Here’s why.

As a product owner unlike affiliate marketing where you’re only responsibility is to find quality products associated with the niche your in and promote those products.

If you want to sell your own info products you need to:

  • Find a product topic
  • Research the product
  • Outline the product
  • Create the product
  • Create the sales page
  • Get traffic to your sales page
  • Scale up or rinse and repeat

Those are the steps that are outlined in Jason’s training. I just want to mention that as an info product owner typically you’ll need to create more products.

And that’s for a few reasons. First, not everything is going to sell as well as you like or at all despite your best efforts. And secondly, you’ll need to create more products due to product fatigue. Simply put, people get tired of it.

Now when we look even deeper beyond those steps Jason outlined, there’s even more to having your own info products. As the owner of any product, you’re now responsible for:

  • Processing payments
  • Process refunds
  • Customer service
  • Etc…

Granted there are services that can take care of all this. You can find individual services or you can use an all-in-one service such as Kartra.

My point is, make sure to consider everything that’s involved if you decide to take the path of becoming an info product owner. Just as it is with any online business there is a lot to making this work.

Much more work than it is if you’re using affiliate marketing as your business model.

The beauty of affiliate marketing is:

  • It costs absolutely nothing to become an affiliate
  • You don’t have to create your own product
  • You don’t have to deal with any customers
  • You don’t need a payment processor

As an affiliate, all you do is promote the products you’re affiliated with and earn a commission from the sales of those products.

You’re On Your Own

At the time I completed Jason’s training he was talking about creating a community for product eClass. But at this time there is no community or training support.

There is their general support desk which I have contacted and they are 5 stars for sure.

But if you need support or have questions regarding the actual nuts and bolts of the training. There is none, at this time.

Now that may change but if not it’s definitely going to make building this business a lot harder. Just something to keep in mind.

Now if he does create a community well then that does change things.

My Thoughts

To put it bluntly, holy shit is this ever a master class in selling information products.

In fact, after the first session, I already got my money’s worth, honestly, the rest is gravy and it’s a privilege to be part of this.

If you’re wanting to sell info products or you have an info product, finished or unfinished and you’re struggling to get things to move forward – buy this training when it becomes available. You will not regret it.

Of course, once product eClass 5.0 does become available I will provide a link where you can buy it.

The ONLY way anyone won’t succeed with this training is if they don’t do anything.

Finally, if the thought of creating and marketing your own product is not in the cards right now, or it’s nothing you want to ever take on, no problem.

There are so many ways to build a successful online business. I’ve already mentioned the way I make a full-time online income is as an affiliate marketer.

I find it to be the path of least resistance when it comes to making money online. Especially for someone just starting out online.

And the reason I say that is the threshold to get your business up and running and start making money as an affiliate marketer is so much lower than starting an info product business.

If affiliate marketing is something you would like to learn more about Wealthy Affiliate is the best resource for learning how to build a thriving affiliate marketing business.
