Perfectly Posh The Company

Ok, let’s get this out of the way first. Let’s answer the question: Is Perfectly Posh a pyramid scheme? No not at all. It’s a legit MLM (multilevel marketing) company that sells skincare, and cosmetic products.

Along with their product offerings. They also have a homebased business opportunity available to anyone who’s interested. The company was founded in 2011 by Ann Dalton. And is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Products

perfectly posh products

When it comes to their products they are all naturally based. Which means you’ll recognize the ingredients in all of their products. They’re also cruelty free and do offer vegan product options.

And all of their products are manufactured in the USA.

The whole idea that surrounds their products is allowing yourself to be pampered. As they say:

We are inspired by women who embrace the idea that they DESERVE IT, whether they’re pampering themselves, their friends, or running their own pampering businesses.

You’ll find their product line under the following categories:

  • Face
  • Hands
  • Body
  • Bath
  • Skin Sticks
  • Cann I Be
  • Supplements

Now it would be nearly impossible to cover each product that they carry because they have so many. If I did get into the details of all of their products this review would be 15,000 words long.

So, before you get involved with this or any business opportunity you need to know the products you’re going to be marketing. So, make sure you check out their complete product line before jumping into this business.

I would also suggest before you get into business with them. You should try some of the products yourself and see how they work. You certainly don’t want to get into business without trying out some of their products. Call this part of your research phase.

Now not only do they have a large product line. But the names of the products are fantastic. I love them.

I definitely have to tip my hat to whomever came up with the names for their products. They definitely have a great sense of humor.

How can you not love names like: “Don’t Rind If I Do”, “Eggsactly Right”, “I’ve Beard Here Before”.

The Compensation Plan

Perfectly Posh has a new compensation plan which was changed in 2019. It is now called the Perfectly Posh’s Influencer Pay Plan. And with this new plan you’re paid based on your personal commission, your firstline and your secondline.

Here’s how it breaks down. You can read the full plan here.

1) Instant Commissions

You earn commission based on personal sales each month. Rank no longer has any bearing on the rate at which you are paid. So, the more you sell the more you earn.

And pay is instant. Once your volume is high enough to advance to a new tier, you’ll receive a deposit back paying you on the higher percentage earned.

2) Lucrative Levels of Influence

When you reach 500 PV (personal volume) in any calendar year. You’ll be paid 10% to 15% on your entire Frontline Volume (FLV).

And once you reach 1000+ PV and 5000 PV in any month in a calendar year. You’ll now be able to earn on your Secondline Volume (SLV).

All purchases must be done through an influencer. And customers that don’t have one will be assigned one. Anyone that purchase through your link that customer is assigned a cookie so anytime they buy product you get credit for the sale.

The only way you would not get the sale is if they went through another influences link.

Ok, that’s a quick summary of their compensation plan. You can read the complete plan here.

Will You Make Money With Perfectly Posh?

As with any MLM business there is the opportunity to make money if you’re willing to put in the monumental effort it’s going to take to succeed in MLM.

At the time of this review Perfectly posh has been in business for over 10 years. And despite that they do not provide people (you) with an income disclosure statement.

This is a key piece of information that’s missing. And that’s because an income disclosure statement provides recruits with the average annual income of distributers. Allowing them to add that information to their final decision making.

And because there isn’t one, you have no hard data in which to make an informed decision. And you certainly don’t want to rely on what other influencers tell you they make. No one want to say they are not making any money.

But I have to say I’m not that surprised there is no income disclosure statement available. From the other MLM companies that I have reviewed and are transparent enough to show a statement. It’s never good. The majority of people involved in an MLM business make little to no money at all.

In fact, it’s only the top 1% of people that are making any real money. By not providing an income statement this to me is a huge red flag. And something you need to consider when making your finial decision about this opportunity. Personally, I would walk away.

Is Perfectly Posh BBB Accredited?

Perfectly posh is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau and have an “F” rating.

Now perfectly posh does have complaints ranging from product issues to delivery issues. And that’s only natural every company will get complaints.

While some complaints were attended to. What caught my attention is Perfectly Posh is not making any real effort to resolve some of the other complaints they have received.

For me that’s totally unacceptable. You want to be part of a company that puts its customers and influencers first at all times.

What Training And Tools Can You Expect?

When it comes to training on how to best go about building your business. You have access to Posh Academy which can be accessed in your virtual office.

You also have access to Polka-Dotted which is your influencer guidebook. And to stay up to date with what’s going on with Perfect Posh in their newsroom.

And you’ll should also be getting guidance and training from your upline sponsor.

What I Like

#1) Naturally Based Products

They use natural ingredients to manufacture their products. Such as butters, essential oils, fruits, nuts, flowers. More and more people a conscious of what’s in the prodcuts they buy. So, this is a great selling point for you.

#2) No Animal Testing

I’m an animal lover and I will never buy products that have been tested on animals. Again, another good selling point because a lot of people feel the same way I do.

#3) Low Startup

You can get started for as little as $35.00 without products. And it’s only $105.00 for a starter kit with products.

#4) New Compensation Plan

The new compensation plan seems to be more focused on sales than recruiting.

What I Don’t Like

#1) No Income Disclosure Statement

Without an income disclosure statement, you have no empirical data in which to base your decision on. How do you know if anyone is actually making money with this business? You don’t.

#2) Not Accredited By The BBB

Not accredited and with an “F” rating. Plus, not responding to customer complaints. You want a company that’s pro-active when it comes to resolving issues from customer and influencers. It’s obvious this is not a priority for Perfect Posh.

#3) It’s An MLM

Regardless of the new compensation plan saying it’s now a sphere and not a pyramid. This is still an MLM business opportunity. And as such the success rate in MLM is less than 1%.

#4) Recruiting

You can make money selling products but to get to those larger bonuses you’re going to need to recruit people.

#5) Hope You Like Sales

Because they seems to be more focus on selling products. This means you’re going to have to have exceptional sales and network marketing skill in order to make this business work.

Final Opinion/Verdict

Here’s where I’m at with this opportunity. No matter how you cut it, or what they call it when it comes to the compensation plan. This is still a MLM business model.

And the MLM business model is notorious for failure. It’s not designed to make succeeding easy.

Yes there are some people that will excel at this type of business but we’re talking less than 1% of people that will.

The reason so many people get drawn into MLM is because of how the opportunity is presented.

You’re sold on what you can do with all the money you’ll make, the time freedom and so on. And that’s what people are after when starting a business. Not only the financial freedom but the flexibility of being your own boss.

Also, the never tell you that you don’t own or control your business 100%. The MLM company does. Remember you’re using all their assets. Your income is based on what they decide it should be.

And you have no choice but to follow their rules. And because you don’t own your business you can lose it at any time.

The the harsh reality is MLM is not the path to financial freedom for the majority of people. And I was one of those people. I tried MLM back in the day. And I busted my ass fo over a year with no significant results. So, like most people I quit. Best decision I ever made.

And like a lot of other people, I tried all kinds of other things to make money online. Those all crashed and burned too. And then one day I discovered Affiliate Marketing and since 2005 I’ve been making a fulltime income as an affiliate marketer.

When it comes to how bad an MLM opportunity is don’t take my word for it. If you’ve come this far. Please do more research when it comes to Multi-Level Marketing in general.

Here a few resources regarding the reality of MLM you really should check out before making your final decision.

And if you would like to learn more about Affiliate Marketing and how you can build your own lucrative online business. You can do that here.

I hope my review gave you more information so you can make a more informed decision about this particular opportunity. But no matter what path you choose to make money online I wish all the success in the world.

I believe in you
