Alright, let’s see what Crunchi has to offer.

And why should you do that? Because you need to know the rules that you have to play by.

Yes, it’s dry and yep, it’s boring. But you are getting into a partnership with this company. So, don’t you think it makes sense to know the rules that you have to play by?

You don’t want to be caught off guard if something goes wrong because you did not take the time to understand the rules. Be smarter then everyone else. Know the rules.

You’ll find links to both of these documents at the bottom of the checkout page.

How Do You Make Money With Crunchi?

Ok, when it comes to the compensation plan for Crunchi you’re not going to find one anywhere on their website. I find that very frustrating.

However, what they do say is if you want to learn more about their compensation plan they ask you to join first. NO! Show me how I’m going to make money. That’s like saying buy a car and then you can take for a test drive to see if you like it.

Despite that, I wanted to find some information regarding their compensation plan so I could share it with you. And after searching and searching unfortunately I could not find any additional information regarding their compensation plan.

How up to date it is, I have no idea. But it does outline the different ways you can earn as a Crunchi advocate.

Here’s a quick overview.

Personal Sales – here you can earn 20-40% commission on all of your clients’ purchases.

Team Sales – earn up to 10% on your teams sales and up to 15 levels deep.

Bonuses – as you build your business you will earn rank advancement bonuses through the 10 levels within their compensation plan.

Smart Start Program – as you work through the smart start program you can earn over $1,400 in bonuses.

In order to be eligible for commissions each month you must either sell or purchase a minimum of 150 PV (personal volume) each month.

Now I have no idea what the PV point value is. But many MLM assign 1 point per dollar. So, it’s safe to assume you’re going have to sell or buy at a minimum $150.00 of product each month to qualify for commissions.

So, Can You Expect To Make Money With Crunchi?

As with any MLM business opportunity you can make money. And as with any business opportunity the success of that business comes down to the effort, you’re willing to put into building your business.

However, when it comes to MLM the rate of success is extremely low. In fact, studies have shown that only 1% of people that get involved with an MLM make any real money.

Now Crunchi does not provide you with a direct link to an income disclosure statement.

You need to scroll to the bottom of their website, click on the FAQ link. Then click on the Advocate Program link in the top menu. Then look under “How much can I expect to earn as a Crunchi Advocate?” Here’s the direct link.

crunchi advocate income statement 2020

Let’s look at the numbers from that document.

  • 57.86% of the advocates received a commission in 2020.
  • The average annual income from all advocates was $1,068.34. This works out to $89.02 per month.
  • The average median income for all advocates was $33.60. This works out to $2.80 per month.
  • The average annual income for the top 50% of advocates was $$9,578.74. This works out to $798.22 per month.
  • The average annual income for the top 1% of advocates was $$62,526.19. This works out to $5210.51 per month.

The document also breaks down the average earnings of the ranks within their compensation plan.

So, what do we see?

Well, if you can get within the top 50% you can make some extra money. But keep in mind these numbers do not include the expenses these advocates pay out each month to run their business. So, these incomes are going to be less.

Average earnings by rank Crunchi

Another thing that this income disclosure statement reveals is the truth that only 1% of Crunchi advocates are making a full time income from this business opportunity.

Now if your goal is to create a full time income with this opportunity and you feel you have the sales skills and recruiting skills to build your business and you can be in that 1% that do make a full time income with this. Then I say go for it.

What I Like About Crunchi

#1) Low Startup

If you pay for the least expensive collection. Currently you can get started with Crunchi for $100. That’s pretty good considering other MLM’s charge much more to get started.

#2) Real Business

This is a legit business opportunity for the right person.

#3) Consumable Products

Your customers are going to need to order products from you on a regular basis. And if you can build up a strong customer base, you can create a reliable monthly income.

#4) Safe Ingredients

The products are made from certified organic, and EcoCert ingredients.

#5) They Provide An Income Disclosure Statement

Despite not having an easy to find direct link to it. Crunchi does provide you with an income disclosure statement. Thus, allowing you to make a data driven decision based on the average earnings of advocates involved with this business.

What I Didn’t Like About Crunchi

#1) No Compensation Plan Available

Nowhere on their website is an outline of the compensation plan. So, without access to that, how can you make a decision about this opportunity if you have no information on what you have to do in order to make money? You can’t!

#2) MLM Buisness Model

It’s been proven time and time again that the MLM business model is a business model that is extremely hard for 99% of people to make any real money.

Consumer Awareness Institute

#3) Recruiting

In order to build your business and be eligible for rank rewards and bonuses you will need to recruit people into your business. And you will find over 50% of the people you do end up recruiting with quit within their first year. Source AARP.

#4) Expensive Products

Compare the prices of Crunchi’s makeup with other top brands and you’ll find that Crunchi makeup is in my opinion way overpriced. And because of that I feel it will be harder to sell.

My Final Opinion Of Crunchi

Look, I’m a guy and makeup is certainly not in my wheelhouse. But looking at this purely from a business opportunity. Yes, there is an opportunity here.

But it’s only going to be a successful opportunity for the right person. You need to have great sales and network marketing skills to make this business a success. And if that’s not in your wheelhouse then this in not the business for you.

Also consider this. Yes, the products look great and I’m sure they are great. But clean cosmetics is nothing new. There are other major brands in the marketplace that have been around for a lot longer and with strong brand recognition and customer loyalty.

Now I’m not saying you can’t make a go of this business. I’m just saying make sure you consider everything before jumping on board with this business. The hard truth is when it comes to succeeding in MLM the odds are not on your side.

Also remember because this is an MLM, you do have to meet a monthly minimum when it comes to products sales in order to be eligible for your commissions.

Like I said if you think you can make this business work, then go for it. But if not, you do have other options.

I tried MLM and I worked my business for over a year, and I lost more money than I made. So, like most people I quit. And at the time it sucked because I had no idea what I was going to do next.

Then I discovered affiliate marketing. And as of 2005 I’ve been making a fulltime income online as an affiliate marketer.

And throughout my affiliate marketing career. Unlike MLM, I have never had to recruit and single person to build my business nor have I had to become a salesperson.

And I’ve built my business around the things that interest me. Even if you’re passionate about cosmetics you don’t have to join an MLM to create a thriving online business. You can build your business as an affiliate marketer.

And as an affiliate marketer you have 100% control and ownership of your business. With an MLM you don’t own your business nor do you have 100% control over your business.

Now if you would like to learn more about affiliate marketing and how you can build a business that can satisfy and even exceed your financial goals.

Then my best recommendation would be checking our Wealthy Affiliate. They have the step by step training, the tools, the resources and personal one-on-on live and interactive support available while building your business.

And the best thing is you can see and experience what wealthy affiliate has to offer absolutely free.

Now, will affiliate marketing be the way you build your online business? I have no idea. But at least you can see what other options are available to you besides MLM.

  1. Thanks for writing this. I’m a former victim of MLM (recovered) and wanted to know how Crunchi differed (due to on the claims on their website) but it’s impossible to tell without signing up. The cost to join didn’t seem too bad considering the products you get are ones I would use myself. But I don’t need the pressure of keeping up with a volume, no matter how “easy” it should be.

That said, they do have their 2020 income statement on the FAQs on their website. You may want to update that part. It’s under “how much can I expect to earn as a Crunchi advocate?”

    • Hi EB,

When it comes to MLM in my experience no matter what they say, the odds of really making a great living from MLM is very slim. And I know it’s not for the lack of effort on people’s part.

It’s what you have to do to make things work that makes it so hard. Becoming a salesperson and a recruiter is not in everyone’s wheelhouse. And doing that grind day in and day out hearing “No” over and over again just wears people down.

So, it’s not surprising that over 50% of people that get into MLM quit in the first year. And I speak from experience. Like you, been there done that. And knowing what I know now I would have never got into MLM.

But hey, live and learn. I love affiliate marketing; it’s been very good to me. So, everything eventually worked out.

Thanks for sharing where to find the statement. It would be nice if they provided a direct link instead. But at least they have one. Many MLM’s don’t. I have update the information including screen shots of the disclosure statment.

      Take care
