Google Plus Update
If you are using Google Plus (if not you should be) you have noticed some changes.
One of the most notable changes is the cover photo. You now have a lot more real estate to work with.
The cover photo size is now 2,120 pixels x 1,192 pixels – here’s my Google Plus page with the new cover photo.
Another big change was on the “about” page, Google has now moved to a “card” style layout. Doing this makes the content a lot easier to read and to edit.
You’ll also notice in the “work” section you can now list your skills. This may help with more follows.
With this new skills section, I wonder if Google is trying to start making a play in the business world? I think LinkedIn should keep an eye out.
And then there is the New “Review” tab.
So now you can place all your reviews under one tab, this is no doubt to encourage people to do more reviews as well as to check out places the people in your circles have reviewed.
I am sure this is tied to giving more power to Google’s search.
Now all of these changes are being rolled out little by little so if you don’t see them yet it will happen soon.
Have a great weekend and I’ll talk to you next week – Hint – Proper Keyword Research.
I believe in you!
